  1. I think this is what I'm supposed to do, but I'm not 100% sure.
  2. I looked through the forum but couldn’t find exactly what I needed. We’re flying in the day of the cruise (I know it’s a bad idea) and I saw that I am supposed to put in the cruise ship as where I am staying, and then fill out a second form for actually embarking on the ship, but now I can’t find the address I was supposed to put in for the form and I’m still confused about the second form. Any help is appreciated and I’m going on the Grand Princess NB on July 6th
  3. I have an Alaska cruise coming up (northbound) and the terms say that the prizes only work while the casino is open. Since it's mainly sailing through (I'm assuming) US waters/to US destinations, is the casino even open for parts of the cruise, or is it mostly closed meaning that it's basically worthless for the duration of the cruise. Thanks!
  4. I was just on Regal in November and the lounge was inside Club 6. Far from great views from there, but we didn't have plus so the $6 cocktails were nice one night.
  5. Ok, thanks. We’re going to be on the Grand Princess on July 6th. We already have a balcony but it’s always nice to have something a bit nicer and had heard about this but wasn’t really sure how to go about it.
  6. Has anyone done this before? If so, what did you ask when you went to guest services, and how often does it work? Thanks!
  7. We have an Alaskan cruise coming up and are using it as a test to see if plus is worth it for us. We don't normally drink wines, but I'm really curious to see what the cocktails are increasing to. We never tried good spirits before and wanted to try it, but I don't like the principle of them just updating prices without announcing. I guess we always have the elite lounge, but I don't know if we'll do plus again if we have to worry about what's included or not. Thanks for updating us and please lmk if you can find out anything about good spirits or any cocktail increases
  8. Idk at this point I think the discount is a myth, cause I haven't seen anything about it and it's been way longer than the 14 days it said I would get the email in. Also, I called and got the code for it and my TA couldn't find a single cruise that it applied to
  9. I'm 90% sure it was added recently because I've been checking it often cause of Ezair anxiety and hadn't seen it before today.
  10. I just checked my alaska northbound cruise, and never noticed that it showed hubbard glacier on the map and gave it one of those green port substitution dots. Just wondering if anyone has any more information about this or about how port substitions work. Mostly I just want to know if people think they would put this in to substitue glacier bay with hubbard glacier or if it's most likely for college fjord. I'm on the Grand Princess on 07/06 btw Thanks
  11. This was back in March, but I was told by a representative that you can call and have them add plus for the price per day, but that might've changed when the price went up and they added premier
  12. It's one of those online travel agencies where you get a different person each time, and they don't know much about the stuff. It's my first and last time booking with them. I can try and see if whoever ends up picking up can do that, but I'm not too sure. We're flying from south florida, so the flight we have is Florida to LA then LA to Vancouver, there aren't any nonstop flights from here unfortunately.
  13. Well I just got off the phone with Princess, and the only advice that I got from the representative was, "Ya, that's cutting it close. The best thing for you to do is cancel and rebook, or find your own transportation to Vancouver." Which I can't do unless I want to lose the money on the Ezair and then spend $500/person on airfare. I called the main number because I couldn't find a number just for Ezair, except the en route number. She confirmed that I couldn't get the transfer, but I also don't think she knows what she was talking about, because I was trying to figure out if the late arrival protection through Ezair would cover us being stuck in customs due to long lines, and she just didn't have an answer. I think at this point I'm just going to hope for the best because I'm not sure what else to do. I don't know why Princess would bother selling a flight like this if I couldn't use the transfer and couldn't make it to the ship on time. Also, someone on here mentioned that they got an email from Princess saying that the ship was going to be departing from Vancouver early, but I didn't get that email, so is there anyone else that can confirm this and let me know what that new time is? Might as well start worrying about that as well. Thanks all!
  14. I contacted my TA cause I used a large agency, and I'm not the happiest with them, but that's another story. They contacted Princess and were told that the last transfer was at 1pm, and when I asked if they would wait at all, I was told no, and that I was on my own. I'm gonna call Princess myself tomorrow to hear it straight from the horse's mouth, but if that's the case, there's no way we can get our bags and go through customs in 15 minutes, assuming the flight isn't delayed. The only thing I'm worried about is that since it seems we can't do the princess transfers, if they'll say it's our fault for not getting from the airport to the pier in time, if it's not our fault at all. Thank you everyone for all your advice!
  15. We are going to be on the grand northbound sailing on 7/6 and wanted to get some opinions. I'm taking my partner on their first alaska cruise, I've gone before just usually with my family and everything being planned already. I saw that the prices for a taxi or uber from the vancouver airport to the cruise terminal is ~$32 + tip, and the princess transfer is $29/person. We booked with EZair and our flight is coming in at 12:45pm the day of the cruise, and I thought I read that if you do Ezair and the princess transfer that they're more likely to be helpful in case the flight is delayed. Wondering if it's worth the extra $ to do the princess transfer or not. I've never flown in day of before, but it was the cheapest flight on Ezair and they said they have the late arrival protection, so I just want to cover my bases. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
  16. If the OBC is already shown on the reservation under the payments area, it can be used for things in the personalizer. I just used it to book an excursion in Norway and Alaska. If it doesn't cover all of it, then you need to pay the rest of course, but it will apply
  17. There is a shareholder benefit form that you fill out. I called them last year before my first 2021 cruise, and had one of the representatives email me the form, and then I just reused it for my 2 july cruises. Shareholder Request Form Final.pdf
  18. Did anything happen today and does anyone have any information about it if it did?
  19. Because you need to fill out arrivecan if you are entering canada via the cruise, including the disembarkation port
  20. All of the northbounds go to college fjord while all the southbounds go to hubbard glacier. If I wasn't also going on an Iceland & Norway cruise a couple days after, I'd do the 14-day one so I could go to all 3.
  21. Princess usually does do zumba classes during their cruises, so both ships will have them. Royal and Majestic are sister ships, but there are differences since Majestic was originally built for the Chinese market. The Majestic has a noodle bar instead of the poolside pizza, which seems interesting and I'm interested in trying it. Majestic also has an indoor pool area along with a chinese specialty dining restaurant instead of italian Sabatinis. But besides these things Royal and Majestic are the same ship. However one other thing to consider is doing it on the Grand Princess, because it is a bit smaller than the Royal and Majestic and it can go down the more scenic part of the inside passage on the way to/from Vancouver. From what I've heard if you are interested in seeing that part the southbound would be better because you would pass through most of it during the daytime. Grand Princess is the oldest ship in the fleet but it was recently drydocked so it should be fine for the most part. I'll be on it on July 6th, but from what I've seen the ship itself seems fine too. All 3 (Royal, Majestic & Grand) go the same exact route minus the sea day to/from vancouver
  22. They're exactly the same, they're both doing the north/southbound voyage of the glacier itineraries. They go the exact same route
  23. Does anyone know where we can get the link for the presentation tomorrow about the new ship?
