  1. Luckily towel animal on towel animal crime is legal in international waters.
  2. Assuming you want 7 days out of Seattle, another Carnival option would be the Luminosa coming over from Costa. The newest ship doing that 7 day itinerary out of Seattle though is the Discovery Princess, which has an upgrade feature of 50 per person per day, which covers gratuities, wifi and drinks package. Much better value than what Carnival offers. Food for thought.
  3. Good luck....most casino deals are not approved for the stockholder OBC since you've already gotten a severely reduced or free cabin.
  4. I would also fax it in and then follow up via phone the following day.
  5. It's rather simple. The procedure at this time is that you get to check in on line to choose your physical check in time two days prior. Really does not matter since suites get priority over diamonds and platinums and will embark first. You could choose 10:00 am or 2:00 pm as your slot, but if you arrive at 10:00 you will just wait in the suite waiting area and will embark first. It could be at 1045, but it all depends upon when the previous cruise zeroes out. When we embarked in August, we were on board at 11:00, right after the suite guests. This was on the Mardi Gras.
  6. Yes, see my previous post #18 to see specific dates. They are all 8 day sailings from Miami.
  7. We'll have to agree to disagree. Have used CPAP for over 20 years and on over 30 cruises and on my third machine with no problems. But what do I know?
  8. Instead of investing in a passport card, which I feel isn't worth it since we have the book, we invested in Global Entry, which substantially quickens any return via customs from overseas and domestically it includes tsa precheck.
  9. No problem. Buy them on Amazon and add something else to reach the 25.00 threshold.
  10. In Aruba a great excursion is Trikes Aruba. You go on a tour by driving automatic three wheeled elongated motorcycles that seat two or three people.
  11. We got covers as well and got them on ebay for a great price. Amazon is a pain at times because of the 25.00 minimum for free shipping. EDIT...Just looked and I got them for under 4 bucks each and they came from the US as well.
  12. The Indulge Food Hall is a grab n go option for breakfast consisting of both hot and cold options. The best hot option is probably a ham/egg/cheese on a croissant. Cold options include the standard fruit, cereal, muffins, danish etc. The other options of course are the buffet or sit down at Hudson's.
  13. You can do your time dining without a phone when you wish to eat at the MDR or Pig & Anchor by just walking up. If you wish to go to Chibang or Cucina del Capitano, you need to utilize your smart phone, even on sea days when those two venues are open for lunch, which is a hidden gem. The broth bowl 🍜 at Chibang was great.
  14. If you can walk, you can park your scooter outside of the MDR entrance and then go to your assigned table. If you will be sitting in your scooter to eat, they will seat you at a four top which will give you more space. It may be a different table than the one they assigned to you, but the decision will be made on the fly to seat you at a four top near the entrance that would be available. Much easier to happen if you avoid the 630-730 jam.
  15. They do. There are currently 10 eight day options. Five on the Horizon and five on the Celebration, all out of Miami. Horizon dates: 4/29/23, 9/16/23, 1/6/24, 4/27/24 & 5/11/24. Celebration dates: 5/10/23, 6/17/23, 7/15/23, 8/12/23 & 9/9/23. The reason I know this is because we have a reservation on the 9/9/23 Celebration sailing.
  16. There was a dispenser back in Pig n Anchor that I believe was open between 1130 pm and 100 am when the late night buffet was open. And I think there was one near piazza panini.
  17. Only bought cruise cash once at a 20% discount, buying the maximum allowed of 500 on each leg of our B2B on the MG, resulting in a 200.00 savings on top of the 10% savings from the gift card purchase through Allstate. So the 1000 in cruise cash cost me 720. Normally I just go to guest services when there is nobody in the Platinum line to apply any cards I wish to utilize so it takes about 2 minutes at the maximum.
  18. But there is zero benefit to buying cruise cash unless Carnival has a sale on it. The same gift card that can be used to buy the cruise cash can just as easily be applied to your on board account at a kiosk on board or at guest services.
  19. I unplug it each morning and replug it in at bedtime (or if we take an afternoon nap)
  20. Why take the middle step and buy cruise cash? If you purchase it you need to spend it all, but if you just apply the E cards at customer service if there is anything left over above 10.00 on your account, you will receive an E gift card via email when you get home. If it's under 10.00, it gets donated to St Jude.
  21. Never stated nor implied that I drank glasses of the tap water that is on board. But I do fill my water chamber with it and have on over 30 cruises on multiple cruise lines.
  22. 15 ft. 4 bucks at Lowe's, kept in CPAP bag.
