    Westerdam VB had objectionable side-ways supports for me, but ok for my 7 y.o.Mattress was comfy. Related We took out the mattress out of bunk bed (objectionable to us in that it was over our heads!) and used that for my 15 y.o in my parents interior across the hall, which had a TON of room. mattress was comfy on floor. Might consider that

    HAL or CCL should do these promo credits faster than 2 wks. I guess price is right for waiting though 😉

    HAL has accounting form issues with displaying OBC's, discounts. They must be "manual" and don't show in real time 😞

    i bought some @7. 60 and now regretting it seeing it to 6.X I hope they don't go BK at this rate and can continue the OBC to soften the pain. I know there are macro forces at work that CCL can't control other than cost cutting There was a dedicated thread for this I can't find anymore?

    yes I meant apples to apples, after I book the cheapest fare, then get "Free" OBC (like my military OBC on HAL) I like that kind of OBC since it's a win for the cruise line too b/c it doesn't cost as much.

    that and America's Test Kitchen were two of the reasons I booked my parents on the Westerdam. Oh well like others have said they did have good CS and food at least

    if you don't do refundable fare , at most you'd lose the deposit if you "walk away"? So i guess it pays to do the no/ $1 deposit deals.. Does HAL do it w/ regular cadence (missed the last one)

    that's a great deal to get free cruises by spending $200-250 a cruise. Do they comp. you both even though he doesn't. That would be a steal!

    good to know that's the difference b/t HAL and Carnival. Do they still do envelopes at the end deal or do any major US cruise lines do it that way (my preferred) vs nickeled and dimed

    ahh Pinnacle. We don't do any upgrades other than what's included in the fare. esp w/ all the great included options. Family rule 😉

    No one was in a Tux, few in sports coats/blazers

    it worked in our case. Spent over $300+ at Space Needle that we might not have if we were lugging suitcases 😉

    Best tip attempt on the Westerdam goes to Fitness instructor that sold me the $200 good feet arch support. He added a yes/no 9% tip to the bill (same as Spa i imagine?) . All while explaining to me how the spa services gift card couldn't be used for fitness
