  1. There seems to be a discrepancy between the FAQ and what I'm seeing. Time will tell. After the PLUS package went from $50 to $60 it was clear in the personalizer that the new items (dessert, exercise classes) were not included in the $50 package. No such exclusions now show.
  2. Based on what I see in my cruise personalizer, yes. Also seems like the desserts and fitness classes are now included for those who bought PLUS 50
  3. That makes sense now. I was looking at upgrading my PLUS 50 to Premium but at $30/day pp for 14 days it's $840. That's a lot of eating at O'Malleys and the like 🙂
  4. So you originally bought PLUS 50 and PCL is letting you upgrade to PREMIUM 80 for $20 per day?
  5. Agree that I'd like to see more than 2 per voyage - perhaps two per every 7 or 10 days for longer voyages. Regardless, I was planning on trying O'Malleys and paying the extra cost anyway. Now I get to try it for free so I'm happy. For others, YMMV
  6. Obviously no one here has a definitive answer to this but my suspicion is that PCL will waive RS charges if quarantined in the same way that they have made ordering from the MDR available to quarantined passengers. Time will tell
  7. Pretty sure meals at O'Malleys were not at all free prior to this. Now with Plus I get 2 free meals there
  8. This is what I now see in my cruise personalizer (I bought PLUS 50) for a late September sailing:
  9. So before today's announcement my cruise personalizer showed that desserts and fitness classes were NOT included in my $50 plus package. No such indication today (and these items are no longer marked as "new"). The items announced today are marked as "new" but there is now no indication that any of the new perks (since the price increase from $50 to $60) are not included.
  10. Not so. First time on Princess, final payment was 10 days ago, booked dining reservations in February while Princess was sitting on ~$600 in deposit.
  11. Thanks for the info. I'm on Enchanted at the end of September for 14 nights. Really looking forward to it.
  12. I'm no longer seeing my excursions on the app - an error message shows up. I still see them on the web site so I suspect this is just an app issue
  13. My 14 day cruise is 84 days out and despite receiving no email telling me I can bid on an upgrade I just bid on each the lower three suite categories. All bids at the low end of the "good" section of the meter. Fingers crossed.
  14. PR gives the same food service as AC J along with similar seats to AC J, which is nice. Also free Wi-Fi. Downside is having to use a personal device for watching video.
  15. No idea. Something is certainly different between our two cruises.
  16. Yes it does, I should have stated that
  17. I'm now past final payment date (everything paid in full). If I request early ticketing and have to to cancel (say for medical or other reason), I assume Princess insurance will cover the flights even if they're ticketed early. Is my assumption correct?
  18. That's odd. I just looked up my booking for September and here is what I see ($125 CAD for $100 USD): Looking at my Travel Summary I see:
  19. You're correct, of course. Premium Rouge is the only way I'd step on board the slave ship that regular Rouge is
  20. Lol, there were many things I liked in my university days that I can't stand now. Not judging, just making conversation.
  21. Anecdotal, I know, but my upcoming flights in J on AC are almost sold out a few months in advance. Given today's load factors and the number of elite AC flyers out there I'm not sure I'd count on an upgrade. Best of luck to those who want to bid on one though
  22. As I understand it it's per person for first night and then per room on subsequent nights. Which is why I booked my hotel myself
  23. I'm seeing the option in my cruise personalizer on the web site in Beverage Packages. $8.85 CAD for 12x500mL bottles
