  1. Hoping if Tia was having an off moment at the keyboard and wants to fill the position, she will reach out. If not, Board24 needs a new Recruiter. Tia might find it difficult explaining your long commute...
  2. Thanks for the great pictures @Hogladyrider looks like you had a great tour.
  3. And it will all be handled with great care. You may even get a note from the person who did your laundry.
  4. Is this what you were served? We were told they're rice; given to those who can't/don't eat seafood.
  5. I've not heard of or seen "pause rooms." Seems to be another thing more complicated than necessary, but hopefully it's effective to the ones that matter. Good news about getting sent home 😉
  6. And that ticks me off 🙄 I would hope that HAL (and CCL at large) includes Service Animals in it's training. A refresher is in order on cruises where they've approved and anticipate a dog be on onboard. Surely that training would cover such basics as not petting a Service Animal. I have to think if it were a legitimate Service Animal, the human would ask them to not pet the dog.🤔 HAL does so many things right; this is not one of them.😒
  7. I can only imagine how your heart hurts for Morgan; I hope she accepts your generous, offer. As well as engaging the right therapist. I was not able to feel secure after our house was broken into so we ended up selling it. And I was many years beyond Morgan's age; I pray 🙏 she is able to find peace and feel safe again soon. Love is strong - sounds like she has a great support system.
  8. Welcome!! Upgrade only onboard and needs to be done before you have ordered a drink. As @Dutchman48 said, you only pay the difference (plus 18% on the difference) so financially it may not be worth upgrading. Safe travels- enjoy your cruise!
  9. And if one cannot/does not eat seafood (yes it is possible to enjoy Tamarind w/out seafood) they will serve rice chips. They advise to avoid one of the dips if you don't eat seafood - I think it was the one on the left. I only ate the center one (it was great), cabin mate enjoyed them all.
  10. Finally, after many many "I was told..." and references to the policy, a glimpse of it, thus ending speculation. Thanks for posting the page re tips. Any other jewels in it you'd like to share? Can you tell us the date of that handbook?
  11. You can do a "dummy" booking then search flights, but cannot search without a booking. You could try Princess - same provider and prices may be similar.
  12. Stunning! Thanks again for bringing us along - you showing us some amazing sites.
  13. Hmm - I guess I could bike to work, but it would be a very short ride. I agree w/the quote. The meal, drink and wine sound good. Not been to the port. Busy work day hoping to get enough done that I can be off the weekend, plus get to PT. Currently 54° headed to 73°, rain moves in tonight. Oh joy. 💦 Prayers and positive thoughts for all.
  14. Both he and John told me they had personally reviewed the paperwork of the Dec 21 - Jan 6 dogs and deemed it proper/in order. So, add me to the skeptical list. Just cannot say enough how unfortunate all this is. And I don't know that I could practice restraint for long if I shared a ship w/that doggie stroller. I'd be saying something to someone.
  15. I was curious about this one that looks have sailboats & briefcases hanging overhead.
  16. That is awesome to hear! So excited to see your pictures.
  17. I wondered, too, but didn't want to ask in case I was the only one in the dark. 🙄Thanks for asking!!
  18. Same. Never given a HAL or any CCL family brand a penny in casino and receive these offers. There are 2 different types of casino offerings: one which includes an amount of Free Play and frequently drinks of some type (this goes to those that gave spent xx in casino) and casino rate which includes OBC to offset the booking free (netting the free stateroom) instead of free play (this goes to people who say they've not contributed to the casino.
  19. They recently increased it by $5/day.
