  1. I truly am seeing a pattern and K'dam seems to be the vessel of choice for them. 🤷‍♂️😪😒 I, too, am fully supportive of actual service animals.

  3. I used the Premium on NS (Nov Dec) and K'dam (Dec Jan) for video calls.
  4. We were booked at Captain Cook's in Anchorage. I don't remember how far in advance we received notice.

  6. Hey Roy - is this the version you've decided to go with - ship names only, no cruiser names? I imagine placing names and updating is quite time consuming. I appreciate the maps and your dedication to them.
  7. Not on FB and no jerk to dump. Yes to the meal, maybe the drink and wine, not been to the port. Today is PT and trying to motivate to do laundry. Since the washer decided it wants service, a trip to laundromat is required; something I don't relish, especially in the rain. The clip on book light I ordered arrived early this morning and came pre-charged so I have been able to test it. Easy to operate - 1 button controls everything: the light color, intensity & power, so I like that. It swivels which is really nice for getting the right angle. It does not have a long neck, so it doesn't pull against the pages. All good, just wish it was thinner so I could leave it attached when I close the book. I guess for less than $6 I can't have everything. Currently 54° but feels cooler, headed to rainy (still) 61° so not far to go. Prayers and positive thoughts for all.
  8. IMO, Not assigning priority times and groups is part of the confusion, chaos and long wait times. Only times were being checked, not status, so workers were sending pax to the wrong line (time lines instead of priority station). It was up to pax to point out the priority status.

  13. Your pictures are beautiful, hopefully Sue's headache does not return. Unfortunate about the dog, especially given my experience last month on K'dam.

Here's the menu we had Includes mimosas Some of our selections Dessert - the best was dipping the beignets into the creme them pouring the chocolate sauce on top - that should be on the menu 😊 The bill - picture taken before I added the tip, which we put on 1 ticket. The only thing that showed on pax2 ticket was mimosa - her meal was on my ticket. Enjoy!!

  16. Agree, however, there have been reports of it being applied. So if she's inclined to pursue w/o an expectation of getting it (ie if it happens, great - if not, I tried) it could end in her favor. But definitely no assurance per actual policy.

  18. Keeping it all in the family. How many bottles did you end up with? I remember you turned some down. It was like Saint Greg plays Vino Whack-a-Mole at Sea.🙄 turn one down and another pops up.

  23. Sorry for delay in responding; I'm just now seeing your question. Short answer is if you call in you may be told they have to cancel to get the new fare. If you try to do it yourself online it will cancel your current one and rebook. I learned that the hard way. Best option is to call [they work weekends) and explain you're only looking for the new lower price. And cross your fingers they will refare not rebook. You'll know what they're trying to do because they'll ask you the magic question "do I have your permission to cancel and look for another price?"
