It will show that until about 10 - 14 days before departure. That's also about when the barcode will show; you need the barcode to get on the ship. If you did a GTY (guarantee) you may not get a barcode and assigned a check in time and boarding group until closer to the 7 day mark.

Cruise ship excursions have to start leaving late comers behind.
Haljo1935 replied to whogo's topic in Holland America Line
Thanks @whogo for starting this thread - interesting and important conversation. Now if we can get the cruise lines and tour companies to listen... -
I call for pick up as soon as I drop my bags in my cabin and usually have it fairly early the next day. If I travel before getting on the ship, as we did recently spending 3 days in Rome prior to boarding NS, we will have those dirties to send out and put them in carry on so we're not waiting for them. They typically are picked up while we're out exploring the ship and having lunch.

I was the opposite - slathered myself in oil like a Thanksgiving turkey. Glad we know better, wish we'd learned sooner. -
You can (and should) do all your online check tasks as soon as you book. You can add flight details (or any other incomplete tasks) later as it doesn't have to be completed in one sitting. You don't select arrival times, they're assigned to you.

My Android has a health app - which I ignore other than to smirk at it's regular reminder of my foot action. -

Time from Cruise Completion to Showing in HAL Account?
Haljo1935 replied to POA1's topic in Holland America Line
Disembarked K'dam Jan 6; yesterday was the first time I've checked to see if it had posted - it has. Both NS cruises from the Dec 10 and prior cruises are also posted. -
Since the rate you are seeing is lower when you are logged in, seems you have a Private Sale or other discount rate that is tied to your Mariner #. If so, it won't transfer to your son, so splitting you & DH will get you the best rates. Once onboard, Guest Services will happily swap cabins & cards to get your son in the right cabin. Last time we did that, it took about a day for the statements to catch up, but they did and charges were allocated correctly. If you also want to cover his onboard charges, you can simply put your CC on his room after (or when) you make the cabin switch. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!

I'll have a Cherry Blossom Cosmo, please 😋 -
Yep, it's a thing. And some Jeepers get their undies in a bunch cuz they don't like that cruisers stole their duck thing.

Pass on the meal and drink, not been to the port. Today is PT and prepare for the cold that's coming. Turned on heater yesterday and nothing happened - ugh. Currently 45° headed to 63° dropping 40° tomorrow to a high of 23°. Prayers and positive thoughts for all.- 80 replies

Ooh - the Megan's are in a self driving parking shuttle in Dallas!! 😳Now's the time for Jesus Take the Wheel😉 -
Obstructed views certainly due vary w/some looking directly into a lifeboat, for example. That's what I was expecting only to find this one looked OVER a lifeboat, not into it. The sunset picture was taken standing on the balcony; the other picture was taken from inside the cabin. My lesson learned was to check the deckplan and ask questions cuz I saw some amazing views.😊

Flight Ease - what do "economy," "premium economy," etc. mean?
Haljo1935 replied to lupaglupa's topic in Holland America Line
Gate checking your carry-on as @Mary229 mentioned is a great way to handle less luggage onboard and still pack what you need (code for souvenirs). Just remember that it will need to go through the security check scanner so liquids rule applies. I do it every time I fly (but I don't fly Spirit, Frontier or other bare bones value lines) and have not had push back. Occasionally when printing luggage tags at the kiosk, it will even ask if I'd like to check an additional carry-on at no charge. Yes, please! -
HAL Alaska SB on Noordam or NB on Nieuw Amsterdam

You are correct - either direction is a winner. We L🧡VE Alaska! Safe travels - enjoy your cruise! -
Without paying for expedited service, I've had laundry returned as quickly as same day up to 3 days (very rare, but has happened) - it's usually next day. Recently on K'dam, I experienced consistently slow return times, twice calling to ask about it. It is, though, hands down the BEST laundry service. The team does a great job and handles your items with care, honoring special requests and frequently including personal notes when they return your items.
