Hi - if you're asking about what food options are available on the Venezia 1st day, we ate at the Lido w/o looking for something else, so I am not able to give a list, but there are many good choices. Someone will chime in, I'm sure. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!

No, I did not have a pending (or final) charge to CC for the total amount. I gave the agent the gift card and pins one number at a time, she'd ask how much I wanted to put on that card then we'd move to the next card. At the end before we ended the call, she briefly put me on hold for something then when she came back, I logged out and back in and was able to see each of the payments w/the correct amount. I also got a notification from bank of a charge on CC in the correct amount. I think the hold was her sending me an updated booking confirmation as it came while we were still on the phone and she said she'd sent me an updated one, so would I please check. This is also how it worked in Nov for another booking when I had a TA except I called the TA, not HAL, to do the payments and they did put me on hold for a while as they had to do the payments w/HAL (my understanding is they can't enter payments directly into the HAL system & have to call to have that done). Seems it doesn't have to be this complicated. Or inconsistent in processes.

Hi - just to clarify, I didn't split the payment myself online, I called into Reservations and they did it. The only time consuming part, was reading each number while they entered them, including CC number at the end for the final amount. But I didn't hear any frustration of the system not working or them putting me on hold to get assistance. Yes, it is frustrating.

We used a few different companies that we had no issues with. Shared Shuttle was both reliable and affordable https://sharedshuttle.it/ -
I get it - as with other topics on many posts, HAL is not necessarily consistent when applying their policies.

Same - after shaking my head and looking befuddled didn't change it, I showed my phone to cabinmate asking them to confirm they saw the little airplane - rec'd texts while they were looking. 👀Big bill did not show up, so all good and I'm a Believer 🎶 -
I called Reservations to split payments last month; it was HAL gift cards purchased through AARP (multiple cards) coupled w/CC.

2 of my most recent cruises (Nov & Dec on NS) when I ate in PG, both dinners were put on my card and charged 50%. The same server made a point of telling the table next to us that he put both dinners on 1 passenger so they could get benefit of the discount. We weren’t a "group," we were a small number of people dining together.
-
As 4* you are also able to treat others to specialty dining at discount - just have them all put on your ticket.

Interesting collection of days - no dressing my fur babies up, but in this cold they don't mind wearing a blanket. At 2:30 this morning it was 19° and has dropped to 16° headed to a high of 21° with rain tonight. It will be a dangerous icy skating rink when DH heads to work in the AM. Heat still will not come on - it's too cold. At some point the system goes into auxiliary heat mode and only blows cold. So we are using space heaters and have the faucets dripping. If the roads are icy tomorrow, I will skip PT. Prayers and positive thoughts for all.- 81 replies

I have done all 3 of the things you're asking. Note that CO is capacity controlled so it may not be available on a specific cruise. You will need to specifically ask for an Advantage fare as they usually quote the others.

She just came out of drydock Nov 26

I have tested pricing differences of "private fares" I've received and some DH has received. Private fares result in a lower fare when you get to the cabin selection phase of creating a booking. When not logged in or logged in using DH credentials (if he did not receive same offer), fare is higher than when I am logged in. The fine print in the offer says they're not transferable and that the person receiving the offer must be on the booking. Always worth asking about, though.
