  1. How timely today has morphed into Discuss Rx Day - the neurologist sent Rx to Kroger who sent me a message advising me insurance co wants more info from him before they will cover it. I see it can cause "respiratory depression" and care should be taken by people w/breathing difficulties. Eek - I use 2 inhalers/day plus take a 💊 every day. Could that be why insurance co wants info from Dr? If not, wonder what they want from him. We talked about my heart & breathing issues, so he's aware of what meds I take. The neurologist didn't seem to care that my foot has been numb since Sept. So, I have a chiropractor, ph therapist, ortho & now neurologist who don't want to figure out why 50% of my feet (1 of 2) has been numb for almost 6 months; only the PCP seems to consider it worthy of investigating, which is 1 of the reasons she sent me to the neurologist. Maybe it's me - my expectations of using both feet is unreasonable and I should find a 50% usability rating within "range." 🤷‍♀️🥺 He's doing an EMG next week. The Rx he wrote (that insurance so far won't cover) is not specifically for the tremors, but he says it might help.
  2. Thank you for the link - checking for myself & sister. Tips and help is greatly appreciated 🙏 this is how we take care of each other and learn about options.
  3. My sister's name is Lynne - with the "e" - she doesn't like it, says she doesn't know why she had to get the "e" cuz everyone mispells it. I say the "e" makes it female 🤷‍♀️ and makes her special since it's not a common spelling.
  4. They had it when I was on Oct - Dec. We had to ask cuz it wasn't with the cream cheese and that kind of stuff, it was on a tray that had bottles of hot sauce & misc stuff. I didn't think about asking room service, but they might also have it.
  5. No capacity for celebrating nastiness - I will enjoy a double serving of peanut clusters and women's day. I've used my middle name since I got out of school and thanks to this group I know it means "God's promise" or "God is my oath." Unfortunately, I agree w/the quote, the meal & wine sound good, maybe try the drink if substituting vodka, not been to the GBR but would like to. Big days in history. Thanks @JazzyV for remembering my neurologist appt today - I have no idea what to expect. I hope there's a break in the rain so driving will be easier. The office is across town & I'm not sure exactly where I'm going. Silly 🐕 just loves the rain and can't stay out of the "lake" in the backyard. It had barely dried out from the last rain & yard really needs to be mowed. Ugh Currently 61° heading to wet 72°. Very full work calendar after Dr appt, so I hope he stays on schedule. Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.
  6. @sailingdutchy thanks for sharing your great wedding pictues!
  7. Although Explorations Cafe hours are posted as opening 7am, Nov & Dec we found they frequently serve earlier. When we asked, we were told they would serve as early as 6:30, so you could check. Also, my experience is room service delivery crew knock is really more of a quiet tap - I had to be awake so I wouldn't miss them. And cabinmate always slept through the knock/tap. But your DW would likely hear the phone if you're the lucky recipient of a QA call.😒
  8. @crystalspin the sheet with the bag price is usually clipped to the laundry bag hanging in the closet. We always get one even though we do unlimited. Sorry for the poor quality, I couldn't get a picturew/o shadow This is from Oct/Nov Rome cruise on NS. The highlights were already on the form, the circle is mine. Bag prices are typically higher for European cruises. Hope this helps.
  9. Very cool - I quite like the contrast of the flamingos🦩 with the penguins🐧. Lucky you - thanks for shaing.
  10. Just put in a smaller cat - makes it lightweight.
  11. Great day - the phone changed lives! I am thrilled I don't wear a name tag for work - most days I know who I am and the fur babies can't read... Aligned w/the quote, chicken enchiladas sound great, yes to the drink & wine, not been to the port. Work started early today and doesn't look to be letting up. Squeezing in some training for a person who will be taking my place at an expo next week. I was looking forward to going, but Mgr notified the team he was sending someone else, so I'm doing all the admin, set up, support w/none of the perks. At least I know she'll be ready and positioned for success. Neurologist appt tomorrow - I don’t look to learn much since no tests have been done, but I'm ready to do something. Currently 64° headed to rainy 68°. Had some decent boomers last night, probably more today. I'm not getting out today, so if they clear by tomorrow, it's ok. Prayers🙏 and positive thoughts for all.
  12. If I'm understanding OP: 1) OP is looking at Pax #1 being a No Show, not canceling 2) Pax #1 is not changing - they are not showing up (not canceling, not doing a name change) 3) Pax #1 is not transferring - they are not showing up
  13. @Fly and Sail this has happened to me on HAL and was exactly as @Horizon chaser 1957 and @kazu said - passenger #1 was a No Show w/no repercussions. We did not cancel pax 1, they were simply a No Show.
  14. Agree - we always follow the policy of putting in carry-on and have scanned; always prepared to pay corkage fee, but have never been charged.
  15. @JazzyV the German castle cross stitch looks incredibly difficult and would be gorgeous if you finished it.
  16. Finally looked up the meaning of my name, both my first name, which I don't use, and my middle name, which is what I use. Both are Hebrew. First name means "God is good." Middle name means "God's promise " or "God is my oath." I think we should all know what our names mean and how we came to have them. Now my "name knowledge" is complete 😉
  17. I l❤️ve your post and think I would absolutely enjoy that tour. You did it on my birthday 🎂 🤪 Here are the ones I saw at the Farmers Market in Hilo.
  18. Welcome to HAL!! I have not cruised London, but I have cruised in/out Rome a couple times. Both times, we added a few extra days in Rome on front and back ends. We arranged those extra days ourselves, not through HAL. I would imagine you could do the same for London.
  19. Mine was after the previous increase, before this most recent increase. I was not charged the difference; however, some report they have been charged. And unfortunately I don't know why the difference. When I've prepaid, I didn't see grat charges on my statement at all, but some report getting the prepaid amount as a credit then seeing a daily charge of the increased amount on their statement.
  20. @Heartgrove 🙏 for you and Sam - pups occupy a large piece of real estate in our hearts 💕
