Uh oh - now you probably wandered into prohibited 🚫 territory, but imagine the block parties!!

@0106 no issues with the "doggie postings" on here. Well, actually, I have a huge issue w/the cause of the posts, but not with anyone posting about it here. It's way out of control and disrespectful to true service animals and their humans. A cruise ship is one of the very last places I would ever think I'd be awakened by barking dogs.

Congrats!!

No more embarkation day lunch in the MDR fleetwide!

And will get worse with MDR taken out of the equation and everyone given the same boarding time. Ugh -

Exactly. And if you do it all at one time, you're not in danger of having a booking w/o CO that you have to change or can't change (non-refundable rate or w/in final payment).

The Fleet Report and Daily for Friday March 15th, 2024

Oh what a busy morning. Have tried several times to post, but things keep happening. Gotta pass on the meal & Chianti, the drink sounds worth trying, not been to the pot. CONGRATS @Nickelpenny the universe gave you a big hug. It was 61° headed to a cloudy 66° when I checked weather this morning. Don't know current temp, but it's raining again, so the pond in the backyard will become a lake and it will be too wet to mow - again. I think I have as much mud inside as is outside. Headed to another eval for PT, then more work, then labs later this afternoon w/more work in between. I would like to put something enjoyable on the schedule, but that will have to wait until tomorrow.- 94 replies

First time Holland America and first time solo travelling

I have only recently seen officers dining with guests at the Mariner lunch Dec/Jan on K'dam. They had name cards w/their title placed at designated spots throughout the dining room. -
First time on HAL - how is it different?

Oops - RMTETrail86 at yahoo dot com.🥺 -
The pre-purchase discount does not apply to a Thermalpass.

You gotta love HAL's consistently inconsistencies.

I was 4 days short of 4* and was given free laundry (I did not ask for it) that I sent out on day 5. I did not get any other benefits (nor expected them) during the cruise. 4* status was reflected in my profile about 2 weeks after the cruise ended.

I am an aft cabin cheerleader, especially for AK, but do like the convenience of being 1 short flight of stairs from the most excellent coffee in Explorations Cafe. Also a Thermalpass cheerleader and the 10 forward cabin is also great for that. Glacier viewing from a warm ceramic lounger in the ThermalSpa is heaven. I spent 2 weeks in one last year and would do it again. Safe travels- enjoy your cruise!

Just got a notice - boss has scheduled a call at 8:30 tomorrow morning. Told DH if boss pulls the "mumble stumble" crap again, I'm likely to tell him to shove it. I'm having random, sporadic tingling at some of the sites where the needles were put in during the EMG today. They don't last long, but are noticeable - is that normal?
