I am on the August 1st sailing and the lack of communication and transparency for those of us who booked months ago and took it on faith that they would deliver an amazing product is stunning and not representative of people who actually care about their customers. It leaves such a negative taste in my mouth. I hope we end up sailing but I can't imagine ever trusting these people again with my money or my business without some type of compensation and heartfelt apology for the anxiety and disrespect they have shown us all. This is what I imagine sailing on a budget line would be like. It's like they have a take it or leave it attitude which does not represent the values they have spoken about for the last year in interviews and videos. Who treats people this way? And this is going to be my honeymoon and I've spent the last few weeks worrying about it because of their lack of caring.

Where does one find "crew sites". I am booked on the August 1st sailing.

I am on the now inaugural August 1st sailing and they sent me an email yesterday: "Unfortuentally we have had to cancel the Maiden Journey on the 17th July from Southampton, The good news is your Journey booking is unaffected and will be departing as scheduled as the new Maiden Journey for Explora 1 on 1st August,Please see below statement with relation to the cancellation and delay of the Maiden Journey. I am writing to inform you that we had to take the decision, together with the shipyard, Fincantieri S.p.A., to update the coming into service schedule for EXPLORA I.While the ship is fully ready and our team of hosts is eagerly awaiting to welcome you among the very first guests, our ship builders have identified a critical issue that must receive immediate attention.Certain materials from a third party supplier do not meet the required certifications and we therefore could not take delivery of the ship as planned on 6 July 2023. We are working together with Fincantieri on resolving the situation to ensure that EXPLORA I will meet the highest standards, as the safety and security of our guests and hosts is, of course, of utmost importance to us.Unfortunately, the time required for the works to be carried out will extend the vessel’s stay at the shipyard a couple more weeks. Therefore the delivery of EXPLORA I is now scheduled for 24 July 2023 resulting in the new maiden journey leaving from Copenhagen, Denmark on 1 August 2023.As a consequence, the initially scheduled maiden journey on 17 July 2023 from Southampton, UK is cancelled.Please let me know if you have any further Questions.Regards,Matt"

So what happens now, did they offer a refund and credit for a future cruise or do you not know yet?

Perhaps, but what if I am hit by a wayward piece of herring and killed as I am standing on the dock pining away at my lost opportunity to take an Explora Journey??? Who will tell my grandchildren that story??? I'm just saying. (Too dark for this forum)

We are scheduled on the August 1st journey to Iceland as part of our honeymoon trip and I am very worried that we will be stranded in Copenhagen with no place to stay and everything booked. I contacted Explora Journeys and they have no information to give. I watched all the youtube interviews with the Explora staff where they said they wanted to create something new, a new luxury brand that outshines all the others. Their customer service reflects the same old stuff you'd get from a Marriott and not a luxury brands.

The paper and pencil icon has disappeared, it is no longer there.

It's been a week and we still can't click on the experiences.

I was able to check in last week for my August 1st cruise, but since then I can't access anything on my booking page, the special requests are no longer clickable and the Destination Journeys (Shore Excursions) are also unable to click. It's a process, but a little communication from the company might be nice to let people know what's happening. Does anyone know about dining reservations yet???

Hopefully. We are going on the Copenhagen to Iceland cruise August 1 - 8. It will be our 2nd cruise ever, our first being the week before on Silversea going from Copenhagen to Norway.

They fixed the birthdate issue on the check in page, but now the Experiences link on my booking page are all of a sudden no longer clickable. Is anyone else having this problem.

Wait, they don't offer a floating buffet like they do on other luxury ships? When I was a boy back in Gsaaystrydr, it was all floating buffets every Thursday. Times have changed!

I was not clear and apparently clarity and precision matter here. I really meant snacks/appetizers (caviar etc) and a drink, not full meals or at meal time.

I just read a post that said you can get room service sent anywhere on the ship. Can you get food and/or drinks sent to the Jacuzzi at the back of the ship (we are going to be on the Dawn in July)? This will be our first cruise ever.
