A huge plus for Celebrity is the casinos do not allow smoking. No smoking anywhere inside Celebrity ships. Another kudo to Celebrity is you are allowed to go directly to your cabin and pick up your Seapass card(s) and drop off any carry ons you might have. You are asked not to linger in your cabin but leave and wait until the general announcement is made that cabins are ready. ~ 1:PM. The bummer about Celebrity (IMO) is there isn't a dedicated lounge for Elite and above like with RCs Diamond/Crown Lounge. We like the differences and similarities between Celebrity and RC. We don't cruise on RCs mega ships.
She's having waaaay too much fun. I agree with the reasons she didn't want to continue with the live posts. I've noticed one of those reasons is no longer posting on CC.
We sleep around. We like Celebrity, Princess and RC. We like the differences and similarities between all three. We book our cruises based on the itinerary and not the cruise line, ship, tier level perks, ect.
The ships we've been on the CL is always open. I don't drink coffee and my wife has one cup with breakfast in the MDR. But I know early risers that go in the CL early in the morning to get their caffeine fix. Let me preference this by saying the only times we go in the CL is on the morning of TAD if doing a B2B, embarkation day while waiting for the cabins to open (wish RC would follow Celebrity's lead) , in the afternoon after being in port for a glass of ice water and always in the evening for the CAS HH.
My understanding is your Seapass card isn't coded for restricted times if any for that specific cruise. The CL concierge or one of his staff will man the door only in the evening if the CL is only restricted for that specific cruise that would exclude Ds for only the limited hours of the CAS HH. IMO. D members are getting the shaft on those cruises that only allow D+ and Pinnacles in the CL during the evening CAS HH.
The Crown Lounge (Diamond Lounge name was dropped last year) is only restricted to D members in the evening during the CAS HH only if the numbers of D+ and Pinnacles are high for only that specific cruise. Never in the morning as the CL is always open. Coffee machine and light breakfast items is always self service. The CL could be closed if there is a maintenance issue. The CL is open even if not staffed.
Since you are a D member you would have received a letter from the LA on your cruise letting you know the times if you were restricted from the CL.
Reading is hard! 😂 @Cruisegirl6 posted what ship before your post. Millennium has nothing to do with one of the two choices given by @Cruisegirl6. 6 night in AS or 8 night in AQ (IV) on Beyond.

S class. Solstice class. That ship has the Grand Foyer. Nowhere as big as the CPN. There will be a live band or entertainer in the evening. Some cruiser's dance. The Passport Bar is right there also.
