  1. Keep leaning towards Iguana Joe's 😎😁😁😎. Fun place you can sit at one of the many tables upstairs or do what I do. I'm solo I go upstairs and sit at bar, start a tab order a Bloody Mary an order of Supreme Nachos and get the ball rolling. Iguana Joe's Menu is online. You can find it and see if it fits your bill. I guess for one reason or another you don't hear much about it here on CC, but when you're on Aruba, your ship leaves late and your walking around town and that place is PACKED, then you figure it out. The food is highly underrated, drinks are the bomb and I'm picky. Right across the street from the port, one of the best tickets on Aruba. Passions Beach Bar and Iguana Joe's. ,🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
  2. It's the city bus. When you walk out of the security area and walk towards town, the bus terminal is on your LEFT-ISH at about 11o'clock across the street.Walk right up to the ticket window and tell the individual behind the glass that you and yours want to spend your afternoon at EAGLE BEACH. I think it's around $3 per ticket, very cost effective it's the only way to go, I think the ticket was 1 way. So to and from Eagle Beach roundtrip p.p., less than $7 total. Buses nice clean and open. When you get dropped off at the bus stop behind Amsterdam Manor it's on the way back it's a one way loop you come back towards the port, Eagle Beach and your ship are not walking distance but their not far apart either. I've never taken a taxi on Aruba always did the city bus or the Party Bus. If your waiting for your bus or taxi and the Party Bus pulls up. Hop on the Party Bus, you can hear it coming from 2 miles away. The guy doesn't charge a fee but he takes BIG tips.πŸ˜‰ Lots of fun, great music and he drops you off right there at port security. The city bus will pick you up right where they dropped you off behind Amsterdam Manor. Same spot, from the bus stop back to your ship will be about 10 minutes and that's pushing it. You just pull into the bus terminal and walk across the street to port security and your back at the ship. Hope that helps. Todd
  3. "Operation Tropical Mindfall"? I LOVE THAT!! That's genius. I'll prolly have to take a raincheck"on the rum one" and sign up for "the weed one" though, which is just fine and dandy we me anyway. Thanks!! Appreciate you.πŸ€œπŸ€›
  4. Iguana Joe's right across the street from the port. Major fun atmosphere great vibe, crew favorite, top shelf food and drinks. Great prices excellent location, you can Google Iguana Joe's Aruba Menu and go from there Basil Mojito's and Bloody Mary's are as good as they are in Crooners on the ship, furreal. Dinner and cocktails here on every cruise ship visit, dinner at Iguana Joe's there's no better way to depart and say goodbye until next time, to the island of Aruba.😎🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟😎
  5. Nope shouldn't be a problem. You know approximately what time you'll be showing up at Eagle Beach? I would have a definitive plan in place getting to Eagle and getting everything set up before you do anything else. Rent yourself two palapas side by side and you and your group can go and do whatever you please.
  6. Sounds like a great cruise. Hopefully they're will be other solos on board you can meet. If not your going to have a wonderful time regardless. Especially solo. Please come back and give us a review. Thanks
  7. Yes those little tents I've seen those, those are the only way to go, they eliminate any misunderstanding. Whatever it takes to keep the sun off a child's skin, taking a baby to the beach is a GREAT idea it just needs to be done properly and it can be. If I was a baby in a little sun tent with the sound of the ocean in the background. That's life.
  8. "reserved reputation" that's very nice. I'm sorry about that. Your a very nice person you can tell it. Thank you.
  9. I've never seen a lot of children on a beach on St. Thomas. I see lot's of families on Eagle Beach Aruba, the baby is always covered up in a baby chair under a palapa Seemed like lots of locals who were doing the family beach day and had it all figured out. Eagle Beach is very family friendly I can't imagine not completely covering up a baby even covered with baby sunscreen. Gosh I don't even like thinking about that, poor little things. The only baby's I saw on St. Thomas were sitting in there strollers with they're moms sitting in the Magens Bay bar getting out of the sun. With very little shade a Magens Bay all the parents were sitting or standing around the bar with a baby stroller just sitting there. There's nothing you can do about it, except BYOB and that's what I do on Magens.
  10. Oh brother I was only kidding. Wish I was there anyway. You do need to check on the Safari Van debacle especially with children. I've posted several times about bouncing all over safari vans. She can take her children in seatbelts in what we call up here a soccer mom van. They have them at Crown Bay I've caught several. No safari vans with the kids. Shouldn't be a problem.
  11. Welcome to Princess Elite solo, boy are we few and far between. I've been cruising Princess solo for well over 20 years rarely if ever said a word about the Princess solo experience because it was one the best kept secrets in the cruising industry. Princess solo, it's not just like my second home it is my second home. Except I had to do 15 cruises😎🌟😎🌟 to reach EliteπŸ˜ƒ. In 2013 I got off a 10 day sailing on the Emerald Princess my 5th cruise on that awesome ship swore I would never take another 10 day cruise and haven't. Since then I have taken 5 more cruises all 14 days, the only way I would ever do 14 days again especially being Elite now is if I coupled it with another sailing. The Princess cruise deals for solos are getting better and better. The only thing I worry about cruising Princess post pandemic and post every other mountain of BS, if Princess is keeping up and maintaining the same level of service they did pre pandemic. I hope the cut backs, staff, food quality and so on don't deviate from the awesome level of Princess personal service that we all knew and loved.
  12. There ya go. That's a great start. Emerald Beach. Ms411 must be shaking off last night at Taphus. I bet it was fun though.πŸ₯΄πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸ
  13. Your ship is going to be ported at Crown Bay. Please find the exact date so blue water or Ms411 can find out how many ships are in port. They can then determine the best beach for you and your little ones. On St. Thomas as with many of the other islands in the Caribbean. What you do, what tour you take, which beach your going to spend your day at is determined by the number of ships porting in Charlotte Amalie. That's just simply what it is. You and your children are going to have a wonderful day regardless.
  14. Yes I've stayed in LBTS before, absolutely no problem getting to Port Everglades. I've stayed up there a couple of times. Great beaches nice older resorts. No worries.

    Gouda Cheese

Amazon, I buy cheese off Amazon all the time. It's a little pricey but totally worth it. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
  16. PORT ROYAL I just checked out this tour. That's a great walking tour and I'm picky. $300 for up to 6 people very reasonable. That's a nice tour, where the hell did you find that one? Been to this destination many times knew nothing about it. I've been running out of things to do on St. Kitts, this tourbylocals is great!! Thank you!!
  17. When you get back from your vacation please provide us a review of your dining experience wearing clothes at the Bar & Grill you have mentioned on Orient Beach. πŸ«€πŸ€πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Thanks..........🀏
  18. Keep your fingers crossed she's not there with 5 ships in port. That's so nice she's taking 2 little ones to the beach on St. Thomas, what a day!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
  19. I would plan on spending $20(US) each way to Coki and back. I was wondering what the cost is now for a taxi to Redhook from Havensight and back. I would tack on a minimum 30% rate increase across the board on taxi's, ferry's, entrance fees, BEERS, food, BEERS, and more taxi's since the last time you were down there. 30% should be safe
  20. That's so nice!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

    😎🌟🌟🌟🌟😎 πŸ€œπŸ€›
  22. Yummy!! PORT ROYAL giving excellent advice(as usual). πŸ€œπŸ€› "slow smoke with a glass of something special" you ARE KILLING ME!!! That sounds WONDERFUL!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
  23. You can rent all the chairs for $20 a day all you want Palm Beach sucks. I'll never go back and I'll never do another day pass anywhere on Aruba. Resort Day passes on Aruba are a figment of someone's dreadfully shallow imagination. I'll tell you what I do though, in the city bus on the way to Eagle Beach we pass by all the resorts that sell phoney baloney BS "day passes". I have my big middle finger up and waving bye bye heading straight to Eagle Beach. I love Aruba nothing but fun great food great beaches nice people, you can buy ANYTHING your heart desires, their resorts SUCK!! Every single last one of them.

    Eagle and kids

"a little over one"? That's so precious!!! I've been going to Eagle Beach now for almost 20 years solo. I see so many families on Eagle Beach with little ones having a time, it's so wonderful. Eagle because of the width and area of the beach it's very very family oriented. You can see everything it's very open. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
