Just curious, we have never been able to go to the Sanctuary since we are too cheap to pay to use the venue. But, on the Sun Princess we get to go to the Sanctuary since we are in a suite as I understand. If we have kids in our suite can they use the Sanctuary on the Sun Princess. I think the other ships have a no kids policy in the Sanctuary, maybe I am incorrect about that as I said we have not been before. I wonder how this will work on the Sun Princess. If the kids are fine I think that will be OK. Most kids seem to be well behaved, so I guess this will be a good change for families.

Wow, that is too bad. Hope it will be working before long. Looks like a lot of fun. Something new to Princess for kids and families.

Does anyone know if Park 19 is now open on the Sun Princess or if and when it will open. It appears to be so much fun, and we hope it will be working when we sail. Still a bit off, so we hope they are working on getting it going if not going now. Also, if it is open does anyone know if there is a cost for using the different venues on Park 19. Any information would be helpful.

Were you able to get to the gym. I have to go to the gym each day, or I am a bit of a mess without the treadmill, and I wondered if it is open all the time or just from 6am-9pm. I wonder if it was really busy and what times it is really busy. On the Majestic I had to get to the gym before 7am to get a treadmill without a wait. But by day 10 it was a lot better, but by them it was almost time to fly home. Thank you.

Has anyone in a suite received this as a suite benefit without payment?

Sorry one more question. We will have the package with all the photos and I wondered if they are taking photos in the signature restaurants or around any other area in the suite areas? Thank you.

Will this also work if I am using a Travel Agent. I do not use the Princess CVP so can my Travel Agent arrange this with Princess?

Hi, we will be in a signature suite on the Sun and I have a few questions if you don't mind. 1-What is a bento box in the sanctuary? Can you order any kind of food you like in the box? 2-Can we use the Park 19 items even though we are older than teens, much older. 3-Does someone stay in the lounge to help with things we need all the time? Of just a few hours a day? 4-Does the breakfast compare to the suite breakfast on the Royal Class ships? 5-Is Spellbound being offered for free to suite passengers? The suite bags were like little beach bags and white with the princess logo in blue. It had a draw string closure I think. I have several of them someplace in the spare storage area.

Do you know if the suite bags are the same as these. We used to get a white and blue bag that was different in the suites. We will be traveling to Austrailia on the 13th and getting on the Majestic on the 18th. This was I will not need to pack a bag if they will be providing one. Great news if on all the ships.

We will be boarding the Majestic Princess on March 18th. I have a few questions and I wondered if anyone can answer. Just a couple by ourselves. 1-What time were you able to board. 2-Is the gym open all hours or just certain times. 3- Is there a time limit on the gym machines. 4-Did you see Pizza in the buffet. 5-We are standard, in a suite, if you are in a suite did they have any special events in the suite lounge. 6-Can you order something special in the suite breakfast. I like pancakes, do you think they will allow that. 7-We need to get a private ride from the airport to our hotel. We are having trouble finding a good company. Any suggestions.-Sydney Hyatt Regency. If you get a chance would you mind answering a couple of questions? First, could you find out when the exercise center is open? 24 hours a day or just at 6am as on some ships. We are in an Aft suite in March and I wondered if the same folks will be in the Lounge? Sounds like he is really great. We had Igor and Bradley on our last cruise and they were fantastic. Also would you ask if it is possible to change the first nights dinner to another night. We like to not miss the sail away and would like to go to the special dinner on another night. I have a bit of a question about Ez-Air. We are going to take Ez-air from Sydney to San Francisco and we choose to come home on the day the cruise is over. Ez-air said it would be fine at 11:35am. So we booked. Now, we need to know what happens if the ship comes in late, what do they do for us. We are flying business and would they put us up in a hotel for a day or until we can get a flight or what. Never thought about this when we booked. We tried to rebook until the next day, but the price is $5000 more if we switch a day, so that is not a real option for us. Anyone know?

I'm not sure, but we called Princess, well, our Travel agent did and the agent for Princess assured him that we would not be charged, worst case we will be and we will pay them. Princess needs to change the contract if this is the case, but as we all know they seem to be a bit untidy with some of the changes. We go in March so I guess we will find out. Who knows, it will be OK if the contact is wrong, but we will still have a nice trip.

You need to check with Princess and see why you are paying for tips. In the paperwork it states that in Australia they do not collect gratuities as it is Australia. We had our TA call and were told yes, no gratuities are collected for the room stewards or anyone. With that said we changed to standard. Several folks have checked and been told the same thing. If you find something different please let us know. I think we have been on several cruises with you. I remember you from a meet and greet. Very friendly.

I guess I am just confused, but when my husband and I have eaten at Alfredo's in the past we did not either go to lunch if we had lunch there, or dinner if we had dinner there. I can't believe that Princess is cost wise ahead to feed us a 3 course lunch in the dining room, Club Class- or a 4 course dinner with all the fixings and staff required to do the complete meal, wash all the dishes used, and all the tablecloths and everything else involved with a complete meal. Maybe just me, We do go standard fair, in a suite so since we drink very little and don't take photos we are not missing out on much. I will be glad to pay for a pizza I guess, but still do not understand how this makes a lot of sense to Princess. I must be missing something, any suggestions. Does making a pizza really cost as much as a full meal in the dining room?

CriueQueen 2-Thank you so much for letting me know about the party in the lounge. We had a great get together on the Diamond and I hoped this was not just on one ship. We have taken suite trips a lot, but really just started using the lounge on the last cruise. Not sure why, really just never thought about it I guess, but what a lot we have missed. Oh, well, that is life.

We were on the discovery a few months ago and the happy hour in the concierge lounge was great every night. One night they had a party and it was special. Did this happen on the Majestic? We will be on the Majestic in March, and on deck 14 this time instead of 12, so we will be even closer for the cookies and coffee. Also, I know they have cokes all the time, do you know if diet cokes are always available?

Just curious, has anyone heard of any update on covid testing in Australia? I know the government relaxed the testing but not sure what Princess has done. Any info will be helpful. Hope they will stop the testing requirement, after 1 hour on a plane and 6 hour airport layover and then 16 hours on another plane Covid testing is the last thing I want to do before I get on the ship.

Great question, We always order afternoon tea at least once, since I am a scone magnet and so I am now wondering if I will have to pay the $5.00. I guess I am not too concerned since I always used to give a tip to the room service people, but now it seems they will be losing out on the personal money if this is the case. Since we are in a suite I may just ask when I go to happy hour if they will get them for me. Not sure if it will work, but may try.

Does anyone know if there is anyplace to get pizza on the Majestic Princess except at the now paid to eat restaurant? I can not see where there is a slices place on this ship. Please let me know. Thank you.

I am not sure who to thank, but whoever found out that the cruise appreciation was included in the price of the cruise in Australia and New Zealand you just saved us $1800. We called our Travel Agent and Princess and it was correct that the cruise appreciation is included in the cost of the cruise and that Princess Plus does not cover that amount for the tips. Not sure why no one told us this when we first booked with Princess before we moved it over to our travel agent, but hopefully it was just an error on Princesses part. So, now we are very happy and Thanks to someone out there. We had only booked plus since we were to pay the tips, but without this we do not need to have plus since our drinking and eating are not worth $1800 for 13 days.

Thanks for letting me know. That is what I will do. I plan to use the concierge suite a lot more this time than on other cruises. I did not know how much they could do for you. We never went to the happy hour until the last cruise. Now, I will be prepared to use them more. So, how much later did they let you do the dinner and did you have to go to Guest Services or just go to the restaurant and they knew what was going on. Thank you.

We get the first night dinner in a paid restaurant included in our cruise and would like to change it to another night without cost to us. Any one done this before and how did you do it. We just want to do the sail away on the deck and not have to get ready for dinner at a specific time the first night. But, we do not want to be charged if we go a different night.
