Are those bathroom amenities in the Club Balcony rooms (a/k/a mini suites)? If so, we’ve had those rooms in the past and we never got those amenities.

I had one of those offers attached to my VIPF so we booked on the Celebration. It was only around $180 more to get Cheers so we thought it was a great deal!

I just signed up for AARP and I can’t seem to find where you can buy the Carnival gift cards. Also, are they digital or mailed to you?

I am seeing and hearing different things regarding dining on the Celebration. I know Cucina Del Capitano and Guy’s Pig and Anchor are included for lunch but I’m confused if they are free or have a fee to eat dinner. For those who have recently been on the Celebration could you please let me know? Thx! Another quick question.. If you have been on both the Mardis Gras and the Celebration, which did you prefer? Are there a lot of differences? Thx!

That makes a lot of sense. I just didn’t know how crazy or what times are the busiest times checking in.

Are there any Shared Shuttle companies that you may know of that have pick up times at Rome hotels before 10:00 am? They all seem to start around 10:30 am. Not that I feel that’s bad, but it would mean getting to the port later than we like. I know we could do a private transfer but wanted to save a few dollars. Does anyone know what the port check in is like at Civitavecchia? What time do they usually start letting passengers on?

We are cruising out of Rome in November. We are also flying back to the states same day as debarkation. Our flight is at 12:40pm. We are doing a private transfer and will probably ask for an 8am pickup. This way we will get to the airport with still a lot of time (in case things are crazy) for check in, security and all the other fun stuff.

I have not used either of those tour companies in Rome but the last time we stayed in Rome, prior to our cruise, we used The Roman Guy. For our November cruise we will again be staying in Rome prior and are using them. We thought they were very good and happy with the tours we did.

What about sides for the restaurants that have separate sides? 1 or 2?

When you say you had priority debarkation was that because you were in the Haven or just that you walked off with your luggage? Our last Mediterranean cruise was 4 years ago but if I recall correctly, disembarking didn’t seem to take as long as it does for a cruise from the US. Am I remembering that correctly?

We took the train from the port to the airport on our cruise 4 years ago. We also didn’t leave until the next morning just like you are planning. If your cruise ends on a weekday (like ours did), I highly recommend you get off ship as late as possible. The train was so packed with commuters that trying to find a seat and keep our luggage close by was insane. It was also in June so it was so hot and miserable. I said I would never do that again and just spend the money for a transfer.

We never get Euros before we leave the states. Once we get to Rome, we will stop by an ATM and get around 50-100 just to have some. What I can’t remember from our last Mediterranean cruise was what we used to tip crew members a little extra. Should tips for crew members be in euros or can we give them dollars?

We will be on the NCL Breakaway November 2023 and saw where some say Mykonos is a tender port but my cruise confirmation says dock. Just trying to get a clarification. Thx!

OP here.. Looks like the glitch might be fixed, at least for me. The past two days I’ve had the right balance due amount and all the offer upgrades are back for me to purchase online. I hope everyone else’s accounts are good!

When I booked our November cruise (this past October), Corfu was never one of the ports. We actually have 2 sea days which we were fine with.

The numbers that keep popping up for us do not make any sense. Also, if I go into my booked cruise using my computer and compare it with my booked cruise on the App the amounts are totally different. Yesterday one of my balances was for double of what the cruise actually cost me. One day NCL will get this fixed.

If my option to upgrade to FAS Plus comes back I will probably go ahead and get it to be safe. I can always cancel later if I change my mind.

OP here. Logged in just now and my payment due amount is correct but all my upgrade offers are still gone. I was even considering upgrading to the FAS Plus but was waiting to hear from upcoming cruisers of changes to the beverage plus options.

Has anyone else been having issues with their online account on NCL? I was looking at my booked cruise yesterday and all seemed ok. Today I went in and my balance was wrong (higher than what I actually owed) and I do not have any upgrade choices except for WiFi. I logged out and tried again and my balance is correct but still no upgrade offers. Is NCL doing away with FAS Plus? I know it could just be an IT thing but wanted to see if anyone else has noticed this.

With how tipping is not a standard thing in Europe do you tip the driver? We normally would but weren’t sure when in Europe.
