  1. I think this is a good letter. It expresses your professional concerns and is about something that could benefit their guests health. Now me joking. If RC was affiliated with Holland America I could understand the loud volume but we aren’t the same demographic of guests.😀
  2. Anyone else think that rerouting discussions should have a separate thread, not to detract from those posting from on the ship?
  3. You are 100% correct in regards to all the safety aspects. Lisa and I have spoken to him about all the aspects. I will have to check out f b.
  4. Developmentally challenged. Owen got to work with some kids that have small challenges to those that have great life challenges. He has found this to be a calling, enough to do his work co-op in this.
  5. We enjoyed our meal there in Vegas so thought why not try it in Miami. The menu is the same, but we can now try other items. It’s a 5 minute walk from our hotel. We already for our meals booked for on the ship, and probably going to the fish fry in Nassau. It’s going to be a food extravaganza.
  6. I think as older dentists retire and the newer younger ones come along new treatments will be offered. He is loving it, but hasn’t had too much time with it. We just got it home from a week at my friends shop. It got leather protection, clear bra, ceramic coating, wheel coating and full ceramic window tint. It will be good for a long time. We took delivery with winter wheels on the factory rims. The summer wheels and rubber will be a bit more aggressive. Meanwhile, the stormtrooper has been relegated to outside for now. (Edit in the sad trumpet sound) He just came home from visiting Grandma Sharon. He went for a visit and ended up staying for dinner. Tuesday will be his first day taking it school and his work co-op program. He is working with DE kids a near by elementary school. He enjoyed his class this semester past in peer support with the DE kids. His first fill up is soon, and then he will know the pain we all know. He snapped this photo tonight.
  7. We are preparing for our March cruise on Oasis. We just booked dinner at Ramsey’s Hells Kitchen in Miami. 3 weeks tomorrow we board the ship.
  8. Often older cars from the 70s/80s the engine key cylinder would get lose/sloppy from a lot of use. If a key was similar enough and would turn when inserted into the ignition the car could start. We had someone who worked for us with an old truck with 200,000 miles that you would start with no key. All you had to do is turn the ignition and it would fire right up. Nothing like today with push button starts. 😀
  9. Isn’t one’s mouth always creating bacteria? If that is the case shouldn’t this be done once a day? After reading about it just now, maybe there is something to it. Still feels like the upsell of nitrogen in car tires VS regular tire pump air.
  10. Man oh man. It doesn’t seem like you can get a break right now, hopefully there will be no more steady stream of issues. Hopefully this will soon start to turn around, and trickle to a stop.
  11. I think you should take a photo is of this and show it to the cabin supervisor, guest services, the hotel director etc… who will resolve your problem. This is a safety hazard and they should be able to find a cord quickly. I hate to think you need to post it on social media to get some help.
  12. Pat did a good job with photos and some story telling. I agree. I have a suggestion for both of, start o a go fund me campaign. I’d gladly sacrifice myself to provide your cruise fix. 😀
  13. I’m so sorry to read this bad news. We pray for the best outcome for your friend in Michigan and send hugs to you and Charlie. Alzheimer’s is a devastating illness, for those that have it and their family members.
