Hope you are on the upward turn. The poor weather does not help you in wanting to get out and moving. Sending healing thoughts to you both. Sorry it didn’t work out the way you hoped. Owen, on the other hand was happy with the outcome. I knew someone at the game and he wasn’t pleased with the outcome. Can’t quote what he said, but you get the idea.

Grandeur of the Seas Be Wary 12/17-12/27

The brand is being held back for sure. Jason Liberty is my guess to be the main “hostage” taker. Oasis and the big girls are making their way there slowly over time. Oasis turns 15 soon, half the age of Grandeur. You said that the other day on a different thread. I agree with you. RC certainly can’t hide the big items not fixed over time, but if one looks on the newer ships you can always find small items of disrepair. -
Agreed. Even after dry dock ships still have tired areas.

Your welcome. We booked through the cruise line for both.

On two different cruises we went whale watching in Juneau and Icy Strait. In Juneau we took a bus 15-30 minutes from the cruise port, to where we then got on a 2 level boat for the excursion. We saw many whales. In Icy Strait we got off the ship and immediately onto a boat a couple steps away. We also saw many whales and some bears on the beach. The boat we were on held 20-30 people compared to the one in Juneau which held 50. In Icy Strait our tour was combined with the zip line at a discounted price. You can do the whale watching on its own. When we went both tours had some refund if you did not see whales.

Sail Away - Fort Lauderdale - Symphony of the Seas

Port side, due to all the houses on that side of the ship. -
Anyone who wonders about where Lucy really wants to escape into, it’s the big barn. Sometimes she sneaks in and other times we let her in. I let her in today for a couple hours while I blew snow. A world of excitement in here. A mousers paradise. When I got back it took a bit of time for her to respond to my calls. Where are you Lucy? There you are. It’s like I have to tell her what direction she has to go. She can get up there on her own, but she’s not so sure about coming down. She follows directions pretty good and she was down in about 5 minutes. Sometimes it takes longer.

Most Overpriced RCL Add On

Pre-Covid we got a 50% refund on our beach front cabana at Barefoot due to thunderstorms. The ship was docked and we discovered the credit on the TV the next day. We also used the cabana. That’s not to say it still happens today, but it did for us on one occasion. -
When multiple people on my roll calls are bringing a hundred each they are not as cute.

If people want to hide something, IMO it should be dollar bills. If the crew have to do extra work and pick it up, it should be worth their while.

I would have liked to have read this but never saw it. The cynic in me wonders if they were jealous that the ships dog would take attention away from their dog.

Many move through the roles on RC ships, Genies had other jobs before coming Genies on the ship.

I actually agree with both of your answers. In one way I say it really isn’t fair for the dog, but I also think the dog will get all the love in the world from guests.

I don’t think so. No. She looks for some pets and snacks. Now, if you open the door to the big barn she’s ready to get in. In fact she got in there Wednesday afternoon when a neighbour was getting hay, and we didn’t know. We let her out 20 hours later and she was waiting at the door for us. Her belly was fully from the hunt. I don’t think so. As a farm cat, she’s spoiled.
