  1. Pre-ordered 12 pack of water on Odyssey in Dec and had plastic bottles waiting in cabin on arrival.
  2. Like I said in my prior post...I am sure they prefer cash....everyone prefers cash.
  3. That's cause if someone cancels or maybe even upgrades and changes to a higher category that cabin they had will become available and show up in inventory. They are probably being grabbed by people like you watching to book a last minute cabin or a TA grabbing it for a client way before a Royal rep goes through their waitlist. I wouldn't ever wait list a cabin if I were looking to book last minute...I would just keep checking myself and if I see something pop up grab it.
  4. The prices on cabanas highly fluctuate depending season and demand. To give an example same ship exact same itinerary for 2 sailings ....My sailing in Dec had a beach cabana at barefoot listed for $250....for March that same beach cabana was listed for $1250 and they are all now showing sold out.
  5. Good food....gets extremely busy and loud inside...if possible and weather is nice see if you can get seated out back in the garden patio.
  6. Thats exactly right....everyone keeps looking for a plot and simply there really isn't one....but great performing and entertaining.
  7. I was debating the same on my last sailing and decided against the extra expense. We went to the beach thats just beyond Barefoot instead and grabbed a couple of loungers and enjoyed the day there instead. The general buffet has really gone downhill on Labadee. It was just mainly hot dogs and hamburgers. As for the buffet at barefoot last time I was there I noticed a decline in their buffet also....long gone is the steak and lobster.
  8. I am betting that they would much prefer cash in hand...just saying.
  9. The only way that I know that you may be able to possibly use your OBC to tip say a genie or conceirge would be going to the casino...go to one of the slot machines...do a room charge for whatever amount you want...hit cash out.....and then take the ticket to the window and cash it out....you will then have cash in hand to tip whoever you like. Your account should use up the OBC on it before using the credit card on file.
  10. I would be more concerned that agent 4 screwed something up...cause like mentioned in prior posts port fees and taxes go by your booking date and aren't considered a price drop and don't get credited back if they get reduced at a later date post booking.
  11. Have done it several times....really like the whimsical theme but just struggle a bit with the food. After the first time it's a little to predictable as nothing changes with the menu and it really doesn't surprise anymore....it's now a pass for me.
  12. According to Customs and Border Protection port of Tampa is on the list. https://biometrics.cbp.gov/sea
  13. Those traveling will need to show their passports and the driver their DL. You will be asked if you have any weapons and they may ask to pop the trunk....thats about it. As for entrance it all depends which direction you are heading to the port from. I would try to avoid the 17th street entrance.
  14. Look at the Tampa Marriott Water Street...it will check all the boxes you are looking for.
  15. Moderate....the aft facing CLS are defiantly in an active zone....similar to the boardwalk balconies. As mentioned in a prior post there is also a lack of privacy on the balcony and inside the cabin when the curtains are open. If it's quiet and calm you are looking for then look at the side ocean facing CLS's.
  16. Park at the port for convienience and ease. There are some outside port options but they have raised pricing that it's really not worth it. One word....driving to the port has become very popular since the restart and many more people are now driving...so advise get to the port earlier than later to avoid having to park in overflow parking.
  17. I have stayed dead center in a rear facing CLS and never remember it being overly noisy with the slider closed....and I am a light sleeper.
  18. Defiantly weather...I have been on ships that skipped Nassau due to winds and on others that were a very rocky ride approaching...enough that they even tossed Oasis class ships around.
  19. You can usually find the Riverside at a pretty good discount rate on Hotwire under their "hot rate". Just look under downtown-Las Olas area under 3.5 star hotel.
  20. I don't know about that....even though they say they don't.....don't kid yourself...the cruise lines work with certain large market TA's more than others. My best guess on seeing no availability this far out is that it's being held up in block space by TA's.
  21. Like stated above...it's now completely online from what I have heard.
