Good morning from the Allure. Sunrise picture of the day is not too good, but I am up. Sailing into a little rainstorm at sunrise. How about the moon? At least it was clear in that direction How is the quality of the moon zoomed at max on my iPhone? Hard to tell on the small screen. 81° now. Have a great Tuesday

A few of my pictures from today at…. we had to walk by some of these Wound our way along the path to the dragon found a nice view of the ship and nice views. and canons And finally the dragon head. (It was roaring today) Then it was off to Nellie’s beach crowded, but we did find a couple loungers at 10am, and relaxed. And some local entertainment Labadee was in remarkably good shape, after some of the stories I heard. But as mentioned, they need to up their game with the food here.

When we were on Oasis, we had 11629 for two weeks. For this cruise on Allure, we are in 10629. On both ships, they are like a standard rectangular cabin. The extra width of the balcony comes from the space toward the living wall. These cabins have the bed by the closet. As typical, you will have sun going one direction on the cruise, and shade going the other. As far as noise, there is crew access adjacent, and there can be some noise at times. On Oasis, it seemed to start around 4 am as they wheeled carts in and out. However, on Allure, we haven’t noticed any noise, and we have been in the cabin until sunrise. So I guess noise must be hit or miss.

Good morning from Labadee. 80° and sunny this morning. My sunrise photos of the day. well, technically it was about 10 minutes after sunrise, since I slept in. @HBE4congradulations to your Rangers. Great comeback in the series. I am glad I missed the game and only saw the final score. Nothing like an OT win in a game 7. Good luck in round 2.

Where did the day go? For us, it was relaxing at the pool. A little excitement in the dining room tonight. There was an emergency signal that went out, and as typically happens, no one could understand it. A little later, the captain came on and basically said the ship was not on fire. Nothing to worry about. Dang, you could hear a pin drop in there it got so quiet. Evidently, a fire alarm was triggered in the engine room, or somewhere, and the crew had to check it. So we went about our normal dining. Duck tonight. Since our dinner ran late, we missed the ice show. Instead, we went to trivia in the Schooner Bar. Team Sassy and Classy (that’s us on formal night), won the coveted North Star bag with a perfect score for Beatles trivia. Getting better with those.

Well, we had a productive morning at next cruise. Booked a fall cruise from Boston on Voyager. Good prices, and I will get to use that surprise FCC that Royal sent to me. Relaxing at the port side overhanging hot tub now. Solarium bar ran out of some ingredients for a lava flow, so kick starting the morning with a Boston Ice Tea.

This was sunrise about 20 minutes ago. Now off to the DL for a couple lattes before walking the track.

We must not be old. No cruise compass for us. Just the show schedule and info for the DL. Top tier event is tomorrow. We have a Next cruise appointment in the morning to book one or three more cruises. Depends on how much I get carried away. Dinner in the MDR tonight. They are seating you with others. There were four at our six top, with two no shows. Escargot Prime Rib warm chocolate hazelnut cake oh, and a Boston ice tea.

We have one of the trailer park cabins. A double wide. One of the CP balconies xxx29. A table, two chairs, and two loungers. Not a bad cabin if you don’t mind getting woken up at 4 am with the crew access next door. Always awake early, so it hasn’t been a problem for us. Had the same one when we were on Oasis for two weeks in January.
