We started watching the first few episodes of Bodies, then got pulled away from it when we saw that Bosch Legacy, Season 2 was released. We just finished the first 6 episodes, but have to wait till Friday for the next two to be released. The final two will be released on November 10th. I am so used to seeing Titus Welliver playing Harry, that is who I see when I read the books. I think they did good to cast him in that roll.

We almost had that situation recently. After I fixed the corner of the wall that Susan introduced the car to, she decided she wanted a nice, big shoe rack in that corner. So I got a big one that was pretty tall. Backed the SUV in, started to open the rear hatch, and there wasn’t enough room to clear the new shoe rack. Then it was a matter of finding the sweet spot where the rear hatch would open and the garage door would close. It works now, but with only 2” clearance at the door and at the rack. She hasn’t tried to back that one in yet. oh, and we have two SUVs, our boat, gas grill, table saw, radial saw, and a fridge in our garage too. Good thing I have a two level storage barn for our other outdoor things.

We have another cold, rainy day today. Yesterday was the final football game for the PeeWee team our granddaughter cheers for. Raincoats and gloves were the outfits of the day. Their team went undefeated again this season, and they managed a win in this championship game with a score of 6-0. We were all soaked after this game that will billed as the Super Bowl. Even the cheerleaders received Super Bowl medals.

I know we will not do Hideaway on the sailing the grandkids are along, but even those prices are twice what you are getting. Here are some of those other crazy prices. -
We picked up enough of the full size candy so we would have 500 pieces to distribute at our house and our daughter’s house. This wasn’t all of it, because Sam’s Club didn’t have Swedish Fish.. We never have any leftover candy, because we tell some of the kids to come back at the end of trick or treat hours, and they get what is left.

My next two that go there are $206.99 and $286.99 per person for the beach club day pass. Not going to happen with those crazy prices. -

I hope it is firmly attached. I hear that GoPros sometimes like to leap off, and go for a swim. -
Kids are all back in school by then, and family vacation travel should be over also. Nothing wrong with planning. I have a spreadsheet with our stops along our drive. I don’t mean just where we are stopping for the night. I mean number of miles and travel time to each rest stop, fuel stop, and lunch stop. Plus I usually research the gas prices where we will stop and factor that in. You know, some of those states have higher gas prices than others. Just like this morning, our gas stop in WV is currently at $3.50/gal, and in NC it is $3.00/gal. I do leave room to be flexible though. I must admit that Susan and I make a good driving team. I do plan it so she doesn’t have to drive in any of the major cities along the route..

You don’t want them spending more than $16.91 per person, per day on food do you? Me, borrowing that number from CC’s #1 bean counter, @harryfat1 in his recent report on Navigator. -

Say hello from me and Susan. We met him on one of our cruises last year.
