Royal Caribbean is offering alternative cruises on Quantum of the Seas for passengers affected by the cancellation of the three Ovation of the Seas sailings. Once Quantum of the Seas completes its “7-Night South Pacific Cruise” in Brisbane, Australia, it will set sail on two replacement cruises designed to accommodate passengers from the cancelled Ovation of the Seas trips. For passengers of the April 12 sailing, the alternative is a 21-Night Transpacific Cruise on Quantum of the Seas leaving April 8, 2025, from Sydney, Australia, to Honolulu, Hawaii, with stops in Picton, Wellington, and Auckland, New Zealand; and Moorea, Papeete, Tahiti, and Raiatea in French Polynesia.

Odd as I didnt see any cruises cancelled. Name one? I think there was a excursion still cancelled, someone died ...blue lagoon or some such name. Before you get too going ... remember both lines share a lot of the exact same excursions. I think a ship yesterday missed nassau due to weather. Friends on the world cruise supposed to go thru the suez canal in may and they havent heard .... but you heard? Please tell.

You missed my pt. Or maybe dont realize if a couple can book a cheaper gty rate but not a solo, a solo is paying more than 200%. There have been a few threads asking why solo has to pay MORE than 200%. Other lines I can book a gty and 200% but not royal. I have to pay double the pick your own cabin rate, cant pay double the gty rate. Your answer doesnt make sense to me tbh.

Price varys tbh. I've seen it drop toward the end. It might be 29.99 one day and 27.99 the next. For a 24 hour period.

I've done cheers twice and for me it wasnt worth it. I thought maybe I'd drive I more but I didnt. Only you know how much you think you will drink a day.

Agree I saw a TA advertising 3 categories of cabins in the 3k range. They still exist if you are willing to pay that much for 2 inclusive. I'm still in the range 2k is more than plenty, a no.

The obc is part of the price. If you change a price that includes obc, you lose the obc. Gotta count the obc towards whatever you paid when you calculate.

I got back Saturday from carnival journey cruise. I thought food much improved but admit I missed wifi and hated their tv station. Just CBS today to cover the Iowa caucus and the next one. I hit diamond on carnival this last one. Done ncl celebrity and others. I wouldnt say I'm cruising on royal for the next tier as much as I kinda like the free wifi and 5 drinks and missed them though I really enjoyed this particular cruise I was on. Carnival journey cruises have too many high tier loyalty members. Lol so on journey cruises you dont get priority embark and debark and tendering. The diamond lunch had to be held on 2 separate days so many of us ... their answer to the same problem we are discussing here. We had 1600 high tier too many to give priority embark. I think they should maybe just limit to diamonds instead of nobody gets it .... so it's not just royal. Great cruise I loved but annoyed my perks cut by carnival because it was a special journey expensive cruise that high tiers mostly do. ... read elderly. Lol. Almost no kids.

By the time I'm pinnacle I will never be allowed in ck. Forget crown lounge i was hoping as a pinnacle some day to eat in ck. So all this top 30 stuff .... i agree just a matter of time until the next axe falls. Except I'm more concerned with the top 30 part than the diamond part. I meet a lady who said she was #31, just missed the cut off for top 30 that week on harmony. I posted just what you are posting. We agree.

Shhhh. I'm already probably in trouble but I even drink the free coffee and if it's hot enough I'm happy. Sometimes it's not hot enough but if not I get some more. I usually dont bother with those vouchers. . All i care about is my wifi and last 2 times even paid for additional access. I hate not knowing what the stock market is doing. .. but other than that I'm pretty darn good. So low class im sure that I drink the free coffee, whatever's handy. I really enjoyed my carnival journey cruise but missed my free wifi. Now dont take that away and im good. I rarely go into the lounge during happy hour, maybe once a cruise just to see how it is. Curiosity but rarely eat anything there.

I waited a hour until midnight texas time for a ship leaving from florida .. I missed the earliest time. Set your alarm if you think you want the earliest time and wouldnt be awake.

When harmony first came to Galveston we had too many high level and all 4 of my weeks this was in the info. It's on your app ... few here knew that welcome banner was a live link. It's for that sailing... unknown. I posted that exact same thing as you have. Treeskier was disappointed as almost diamond.

It's what is posted in the app for that particular sailing. I posted the same thing on my b2b2b harmony had that exact same thing. Its each sailing. Click on the banner welcome aboard in your app is where you see that. Not permanent. Its for that sailing.

Book a carnival journey cruise. We had 19 kids. Yes 19. Balconys start around 6k for 14 days with more unusual ports. Not cheap and they attract a older demographic. Families dont book these longer more expensive cruises. Well fewer with young kids. People willing to lay 6k usually arent young families. Or any, longer cruise. I thought it was a awesome cruise. Much better than their shorter cruises. Yes a lot of older folks.

I've done a few other oasis class and it seemed to vary. One night crepes and the next stir fry or build a burrito, different each night on harmony. Couldn't predict. Saw crepes a night or two during my b2b on allure. My guess is this is typical, it's not a nightly thing. Though harmony at least had a ice cream set up nightly with 6 toppings.

I've seen various TAs advertising group space in the 3k range. .. 3.2k, 3.5k that they had unsold I'ventory. No one I know would book at direct rates. ... though to me over 3k is still high for just a plain ole balcony.
