We just checked out A2S prices. 😳 A roundtrip $1,850 each! I am feeling much better about our cost. We are breaking it up some. We will 1st fly to LA and spend the night and leave the next morning. We will arrive in Hawaii Sunday and cruise Tuesday at 9pm. Now that we are doing a deeper dive we are finding decent prices flying to Hawaii. Looks like the cost of flights plus hotels will beat A2S same day price.

I thought this was the trip you fell.... BTW, are you doing better now? It says it would be a 9 hrs drive but that is without stopping. Also add the cost of parking. I was tempted to drive but it's a 4 person decision. Besides, we enjoy flying. With that said we have been talking about taking a road trip to visit Boston and area. We would take several stops on the way there and back.

We are cruising out of Galveston in January. We got an OK price on flights. Not great but not bad. Surprised me. We considered driving.

No, I didn’t think of it. We booked one part already. I wonder if you could just book return flights from them.

I was happy to see the Social Security increase but I think we are about to spend it all. We booked the May Hawaii cruise on Ovation. The cost of flying to Hawaii and then flying back from Vancouver is crazy high. Last May we had the Hawaii cruise booked but it was canceled. That is when we decided to do the Alaska cruise. I hope it all works out this time.

I thought I would share a picture of my buns! 😃 My 1st attempt at onion buns. I made them last night. It took longer than expected so we didn't try them until today. We made Cheddar cheese burgers and used these buns. The buns had a strong onion taste when we tried a little last night but good eating them with a hamburger. No need to add sauteed onions. I lucked out. I forgot I put them in the oven. Sharon walked into the kitchen and asked if I was cooking something. They cooked a little longer than I should of cooked them but not bad. I will make them a little smaller next time. About the only thing I like about the weather turning cold is that I am getting back to baking.

Our boarding time in January Allure is 10am. Is 11am the easiest time this month? When we had an early boarding time on Allure in Ft Lauderdale last November they checked us in and then we were put in a waiting section for about 20 minutes.

Yes, this is the Samsung browser. It works great but my phone is still using Android 13 OneUI 4.1. I remember you mentioning problems after the upgrade.. I have not had the option to upgrade yet.. Must be a difference between S21 and S22. My last update was September 30.

@Ocean Boy You may already know about this and it is probably not unique to Samsung. Many times when I tried to hit the refresh on the browser I would hit to far to the left and a bunch of preloaded links would pop up. I am just now discovering I delete the preloaded and add what I want. You can also rename the links. Clink the middle. Then this pops up. Click edit to delete or change names.

We had a surprise $50 OBC show up after boarding on our last cruise. It was from booking a group rate through our great TA.

We enjoy going to Nachi Cocom. Lots of good memories.

I think they fell for it at first but now knows she was faking it. That's why I think she is the next one out.

@Sea Dog I was going to surprise you that I finally got the insta360 x3 but I couldn't help to comment on annother thread. I wanted to post an example for you to let you know but figuring out the editing is a challenge. The whole family met Monday afternoon at my oldest daughter's house. Santa came over to see the Grandkids. He read them a story and gave them a gift. I set the 360 up and recorded. I will try to post it later. Good luck tomorrow.

I agree, all 3 were good teams. I enjoyed the story of the 2 sisters who didn't know each other growing up.

I am not sure but I would think if you had something to attach it to your body like a wrist, head, or shoulder band it wouldn't be a problem. I didn't get any of those. If it was me I would I wouldn't ask. I would have it on a collapsed stick, start it before getting on and once started I quickly extend it and hold it up. Then trim it later. Or if no stick you could try a video with it in your mouth 🙃. It's actually a "thing".

I just got the X3 in this week. Shoot now, frame later. It is challenging to edit. Have you had it awhile? This is helping me. It would be cool to see a video riding the Dragon. We just did the same itinerary on Allure and I was tempted to do the Dragon. Have a great cruise!
