I haven't tried an electronic warming toilet seat butt I sure am thankful for the heated seats in the car since the weather has turned back cøĺd. 🥶

Thought we could use a food pic. Lunch today. The pizza has my homemade pizza sauce, chopped bell pepper, cheese, roasted tomatoes, and pepperoni.

Wow. I did not know there were that many. I remember seeing a couple a few years ago when I found the one bow last month but I did not know that there we so many more. I copied the list for January.

When we were in Miami last year I had the best fish tacos and they had coleslaw on them. Sooooo good. Now off to make a bacon 🥓, cheddar cheese🧀 and tomato 🍅 sandwich. Last week I was experimenting again. I roasted some garlic, mixed it with some soft philadelphia cream cheese and spread the mix on some Ritz crackers. It was a great snack.

In the south it is common to be served Cole slaw on a BBQ pork sandwich. I grew up mostly in northern Ohio. I still remember visiting W Virginia and getting my 1st sandwich with Cole slaw on it. I was surprised. It was good.

I had my first sandwich with fries on it at a Cleveland Cavaliers game years ago. It was surprisingly good.

We used to get the roast beef first thing every cruise but the quality has been going down hill. After trying to eat one on Allure last month we decided no more. It was nasty.

The Dining room looks great. Looks like a good time. Hope you don't mind me flipping the pics for you.

Yes it's open. We made all of our UDP reservations there after boarding the Allure last month. After booking we had lunch there. It was open for lunch on other sea days too. It does cost less at lunch but I don't remember how much. You can get some of the nicer meals like the 8oz filet mignon. I had the hamburger and the best potato soup that I have ever had. We will probably do the 3 night in January rather than the UDP. We will do 2 Giovannis and 1 Chops.

We have done it both ways. No benefit unless you have OBC that will cover it. Some just want to pay for it ahead of time so they owe nothing for the cruise later.

We had a great time together though Finnley slept through most of it. I agree with the quote. All about enjoying time together. We were pretty full again. On top of all the Thanksgiving food, my DD made some great chocolate chip cookies and left us a bunch. Just a little while ago, even though we were full we both started thinking about the cookies. We had to go with one of Sharon's quotes we usually only use when on a cruise..... You don't have to be hungry 😋 to eat! I hope and others enjoyed the day!

When our daughters married we let them know that we didn't have to get together on the exact holiday day. If it is big to in-laws, we can meet on another day. One less thing for them to stress about. This is why we had our family Thanksgiving last weekend. Our 2 oldest are celebrating Thanksgiving with the in-laws. Our youngest asked if we could do a 2nd Thanksgiving with them today so Finnley can have here 1st celebration of Thanksgiving on Thanksgiving. So we are having our favorite brisket and homemade rolls! I hope all here have a great day if you celebrate Thanksgiving or not. Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

I hope you have a safe trip to Florida. Your post reminded me of when we moved here. We had moved a few times before. Seemed like each move stuff in the attic grew. Our last move we decided to thin the attic. A bunch of folks from church helped us make the move. Almost every time we pulled something from the attic we asked, anyone want this? 😆 It helped at the time but after 23 years of being here the attic is full again. Hope y'all enjoy those delicious Thanksgiving hamburgers!

They occasionally flashed up nice Hawaii pics. @brillohead Maya Chan looks like a great choice too. That is where we were probably going before the Ruins were brought up. We are doing Nachi Cocom in Cozumel. We were looking at Maya Chan Beach in Costa Maya which looks real good but our cruise friends mentioned checking out the Ruins so we are doing our research.

Has anyone done the Mayan Ruins? If so, how was the experience?
