IZUMI After a short break after breakfast I started getting hungry 😋 So the solo cruiser and I headed to Izumi. All I needed was a snack to hold me over until our 5 pm reservation to 150. I started with some Miso soup. Yep, I started eating and then.... oh pic! Good. For a small plate I did the Shimp and Vegetable Tempura. I really like this. For the Large plates I got my regular Truffled Creamy Lobster Tempura Roll. It was OK. Not as good as I remember. I need to branch out. Any suggestions. I also tried a new one. Baked Snow Crab & Salmon Dynamite Roll. I really enjoyed this one. I was 1st concerned when I saw spicy in the description but it was not too spicy at all. I finished my snack with a chocolate lava cake. It was rich but good. So good I ate it before realizing I didn't take a pic. I am hoping this snack can hold me over until 150 CP in 1.5 hours. 😆

Found some at the pool! OK, have you tried Kraken. I am curious, out of the 3 rums in the pic, which one would most prefer. Maybe even what order. Maybe we will see.

Thanks. We have a great TA now and would want him to get credit for it. I heard they might announce Icon the 18th. I thought if they do I would like to check if I could book a TA when it sails to the states. I normally don't look at next cruise. If they had a good price on a Jr Suite I would probably book because if I understand correctly, they don't do group rates for jr suites. I really want to try Icon when it comes out.

Here is a heads-up for those that have not cruised in awhile, if you enjoy having a paper copy of the Cruise Compass inform your cabin steward on day 1 and one will be delivered daily. If you don't ask you can find the info on the app. I am seeing that many are not knowing that if you ask you can still get one.

We both will have a lot of reread. Especially having so many friends doing lives. I am using my Samsung S21 Ultra. It has a .6, 1, 3x and 10x lens. I love the 10x. So much better than digital zoom. I thought you would like the drummer. He looks so young. Is solos are so good. My brother was a drummer and I was a roadie for a great friend in my younger days. I am a virgin frozen drink guy. Hearing Kraken from all makes it tempting. We have been drinking the peach margaritas. Will go to Miami Vice before its over. Stay safe and enjoy.

We are on Allure now. We just mentioned to our cabin steward that we wanted the Cruise Compass each day. No problem.

We just board Allure yesterday. Outside they were forming separate lines based on your arrival time. The lines moved quickly. We got there at 10:08 and were in the waiting section in 18 minutes. Once inside at the waiting area it was probably another 20 minutes before we boarded.

Do you need to give Next Cruise a TA number or something or can it be done after the cruise.?

We went to the Windjammer for breakfast. It is so crowded. But it has been a few hours since we had a bite to eat..... 😆 It has been awhile since I have had some smoked Kipper Herring. It was good. It's a snack my grandfather got me hooked on. Sharon can't handle the smell when I heat it up. Also it seems like the only place I eat hash browns is on a ship. A lady next to me yelled out hash! I got excited then noticed it was hash brown...... 😆

@slyster Looks like they are doing trivia throughout the day in Dazzles. This must be something else that has started back up since January.

The welcome aboard comedy show was good last night. The speakers were load in the Amber Theater. I remember the director from another ship but don't remember the name. The comedians were Don Grey and Kivi Rodgers. They were both good. The orchestra is good. Especially the drummer.

I just love clouds. Especially over the sea.

It's doing fine. We have used them before but not in this capacity. You can see there are 4 at the top 2 towards the bottom and a random one that is holding my hat.

I wanted to share what Sharon brought this time. It is a great organizer. It is held up by magnets.
