Help talk me off the ledge here. My January 21 Ascent cruise was paid for back in October. I have the pdfs showing zero balance, and my website account showed zero balance as recently as yesterday. Tonight, I went into the account to add a celebration note to the sailing, and it has an alert to pay over $1500 dollars or my cruise could be cancelled. Now it's locked, so I can't even look at it again. I'm on hold with Celebrity, with an estimated 2 hour wait. I just bid on a move up today....did this f#$% up my booking and rebook it at the current rate or something crazy like that . I'm beyond freaking out, this was our first AQ room and the second half of a b2b and I'm worried it will be screwed up. Anyone else going through this?

I had something similar happen recently. I booked on the phone with Celebrity, got the PDF of the reservation and it had my name and address, different birthday and a different Captains Club number and level. Turns out that one was automatically made when I re-signed up for emails years ago. It was easily corrected to my proper CC number. So check and see if you somehow have two.

Grabbed a sunset sky suite before the prices jumped up to normal on 1/4/26. . It's 2 weeks after our 40th anniversary. I hadn't even thought of planning yet, but too good to resist.

Did the same thing. It's 2 weeks after our 40th anniversary, swore to never book a suite but this seems like fate 😀

Just got an email advertising this for my March 2025 cruise. When I clicked it said sorry not available. Looks like an option to buy a priority pass for various things.

That would be my guess, too. We spent a lot of time at the martini bar across the way, the only time Craft Social was noticeably busy was when baseball or football was on.

I was just on the Equinox October 22-28. I can attest that every bar we went to, which was every bar except the World Class Bar, provided good service and liberal pours of alcohol. I'm sorry you had bad luck on two attempts at getting a drink. But I strongly disagree with your generalization that liquor drinks are worthless on the Equinox.

Just a quick post. Boarded the 22nd. MDR menus haven't been returned to the old good ones yet ( I think I read here that's starting in November. ) And there hasn't been any chef's daily special added . So the menu is definitely sparse. However, the food is excellent at every venue. And the buffet has the best variety that I've seen since the restart. There have been different themes each lunch and dinner. BBQ, Mediterranean, Caribbean, and now German tonight. We've decided to just eat at the buffet this cruise. As for entertainment, I recommend the Broadway Revue with the Celebrity singers. They're good!

Boarded Equinox on Sunday. Had the 1130-12 time., got there at 1045. Went right in . No checking. Of course, had to wait in the big room after check-in before boarding started at 1115.

Rotterdam at berth 26 and Nieuw Amsterdam at 19 today at Port Everglades. I'm on Equinox at 25.

I'll be boarding the Equinox later today. I'll get some pictures of the Rotterdam and Nieuw Amsterdam if I can. I'm excited to see the Rotterdam, we're sailing on her for the first time next March. The Nieuw Amsterdam repairs are a sad start to the season.

Thanks for the fleet report and all the neat information! Strength and best wishes for those who are struggling or suffering today. Tomorrow we are boarding the Celebrity Equinox at Port Everglades. Six night cruise, short for us, we're calling it our booze cruise 😋 We'll have the Rotterdam docked near us, I'm looking forward to sailing on her in March I'm sorry to see that the Nieuw Amsterdam will be there for repairs. Sad start to the Caribbean season.

I fully agree with you about letting the cat out of the bag. I have 8 Celebrity cruises booked, and have sailed exclusively with X for 8 years. But all this talk the past few months made me nervous enough to seek out another cruise line. I've got Equinox next week, Ascent b2b in January then I'm trying out HAL on the Rotterdam in March and depending on how things go in comparison , I may be cancelling 4 or 5 of the Celebrity sailings, including a bucket list b2b2b Iceland New England cruise, inspired by your trip last summer, Jim. Being concerned enough to check other cruise lines led me to find great Iceland itineraries on HAL so now I know I have options. . I am very glad they may be correcting these blunders, it would be sad to stop sailing Celebrity altogether.

Thanks to everyone who posted great photos of Victoria! I was just there last month, for the first time. What a beautiful city! I visited our daughter who lives in Port Angeles Washington. We took the ferry over for the day. As an aside, that whole area of Washington is magnificent. Little coastal towns up against the mountains and within a few hours of Victoria and Seattle. We were good here too, but I was shocked at how many warnings there were. That was an intense storm system. @Haljo1935i hope your foot is better before you go. Thanks for the Fleet Report! It was a no sleep night here in Ocala Florida. We've had 5 separate tornado warnings since 2:30 am . I hope all my fellow Floridians are safe out there !
