Currently on Equinox and tried @Jim_Iain great tutorial on setting up an alternate TV source, in our case an Android box . It worked, But then we couldn't figure out how to get back to the Celebrity TV input, just got a blank screen and had to call guest services for a reboot 🤪. Any suggestions? Thanks!

There's some confusion based on the restaurant naming.. Tuscan MDR is not Tuscan Grill which is a specialty restaurant. The 4 MDRs on Edge class ships all have the same rotating daily menu you'd see on other ships. So there will be lobster on one "formal" night. In addition, each of the 4 has it's own options ( same each day) which fit the theme of that restaurant....Italian, French, Continental or Greek . To make it more confusing, you can order, say, a Cosmopolitan special in Tuscan. They definitely made dining a mental workout on the new ships 😀

Even with GoGreen it isn't one service, thet do one full service in the morning and then a "lighter" night service.

For anyone who's been on a B2B since the testing was mostly eliminated . Has there been any testing between cruises? If so, was it due to cases onboard or is it still standard procedure ? The website doesn't mention it, but I don't trust the Celebrity site's info to be accurate or complete.

I book inside staterooms and that's my general cruise philosophy. But i still expect a decent level of service. If i chose to pay 10 X more for a suite, I'd be disgruntled if I didn't get the advertised perks , such as a helpful shoreside concierge or butler. No one here is talking about an employee's one bad day. They're discussing systemic drops in service over a week, a month a year. It sounds like there's 2 reasons for it . ---Individual employees who may be in the wrong line of work, just not good people pleasers..Just an employee who tries to get away with doing the bare minimum. ---The cruiseline cutting staff and also lowering the quality of products like food. Puts time constraints on good employees and lowers morale because passengers are complaining about missing drink choices, slow service, etc. Also, thanks for making me laugh whenever i read your posts. I always know what you're gonna say.😀

I'm with ya on that! That would be like 10% of the day that I wouldn't be able to drink😋. Scary thought!

The sales are extremely misleading lately. I have 7 cruises booked from next month through April 2024. Checked every one when the Black Friday sale started, all were the same or more than what I booked at.

My husband and I are 2 of those lower level gamblers who have gotten nothing. Whatever their rationale for sending the offers, I think it is pissing off people like us, Keep sending offers to people who won't spend a minute in the casino. Great marketing🙄.

I agree! Each class has its own special appeal. When I'm booking , sometimes it's tough to choose. It's like my kids, I love them both equally but differently 😄

It will be in Europe for the summer of 2024. And the remaining 24-25 sailings are being released between now and December 13.

That is my method of dealing with elevator invaders 😄. I just walk straight into them.

I hope the feedback from this trial run is definitively negative! How can RCL think taking away classics will be a good thing? My husband and I eat in the MDR every night on a cruise. We are buffet denizens for all breakfasts and lunches but we love the atmosphere in MDR for dinner, just sitting and talking and sampling breads and the day's specialties.. We get an appetizer, a soup or salad and an entree. We don't stay for dessert. It's a wonderful hour to spend together. I don't enjoy most types of red meat, and neither of us eats seafood. I always have the classic chicken if nothing else appeals and it's delicious. I think if this gets applied to Celebrity, we'd still go, my husband would still enjoy everything , and i'd pick the least unappealing option. And I'm sure the wait staff will fret when I don't finish my food.

The ship in question is the Eclipse, sailing around NZ and Australia. The Equinox is in the Caribbean. I think covid is being "noticed" more in the AU/NZ region because there are still stricter rules in effect,. Like with the Princess ship, if some people report symptoms, they are testing everyone on the ship. I hope the US sailings to the Caribbean don't go back to this. Covid is here to stay. It needs to be dealt with like any other illness onboard. Treat those who need medical care and leave everyone else alone.

Your screen name may conflict with your advice...... I am on the Equinox for 21 days next month....there will definitely be things done to excess 😄

We cruise on Celebrity. We like to board as early as possible. Go to stateroom and drop off carryons. Go to dining room and check our assigned table location . Go to spa and reserve our free Persian Gardens day pass ( Captains Club benefit) Get lunch at buffet and set up internet. Walk around the ship, check in at muster drill station. Drink and smoke at Sunset bar until sailaway! December 1 on Equinox ! Can't wait!

@GenerationX sorry for your loss and thank you for sharing your thoughts with us here. It's a good reminder for all of us to enjoy all in life that should be enjoyed, without fretting over the little stuff.
