I enjoy dressing for dinner most nights and upscale it a bit more on formal nights but I’m a Brit 😂 that’s what we do. However why do they even call it formal night when it really isn’t any more?

Thanks, I’m a very regular cruiser(or was pre-Covid!) and tbh don’t often check out the shows but as it’s 12 days with only 2 ports I though I would check if anything/anyone worth seeing. I’ll probably still send up playing poker! Thanks for the info everyone.

But probably a beer or two in the afternoon, (which I would pay for), a drink or two before dinner (free), a glass of wine (buy a bottle) with dinner and then a couple of drinks after dinner (free). so don’t think I can justify the package tbh.

I am on the TA and am delighted it’s going out of Barcelona but understand Tennis’ frustration. In their email RCL offer $100 for any transfers you need to change, don’t know whether that is pp or per cabin but should get you to Tarragona. enjoy your cruise.

Well you’ve got me! I travel solo most of the time and I do have a sweet deal on the Jewel for this October transatlantic cruise but for next year the price of RCI balcony v Virgin is 100% + more expensive and that’s without Wi-Fi, gratuities and refreshments! I’m going with Virgin next year.

Not Royal Up but I called Royal to see if there were any aft cabins available on my next cruise, overlooking the wake, there weren’t any but it turned out my balcony had restricted viewing! I didn’t know that so we found a better cabin with unrestricted view and more spacious and it cost me ………£1.50 more 😂

I booked direct with Royal, should I be able to get it too, anyone know?

First time for me - on my next TA cruise in October - that I will not buy a drinks package. Just couldn’t see it saving me money, I will buy drinks over and above my Diamond vouchers but still think it will be cheaper. and might slow me down a bit! 😂

My last few cruises I have bought the drinks package but definitely not this time around - it’s way too expensive IMO. I will definitely use all of the vouchers and buy wine for dinner and maybe a beer or cocktail during the day but couldn’t drink my way through the package now. Safe cruising everyone

Just had my right hip replaced on May 11th. Just started walking without a cane. I was told no bathtub for at least 12 weeks not worth the risk of displacement. Enjoy your cruise and your showers!
