  1. However the cruise contract does not spell out the information in question. It only says that you are not allowed to take prohibited items, but it doesn’t say what those items are. So the website FAQ is all the traveler has to go on.
  2. In Miami you go through the screening process first, then go to the check.in areas.
  3. But here is the problem. In a different place in the FAQ it says two bottles per state room. 750 ml bottles. Now clearly something has not been updated and the two statements are not congruent. No wonder the poor screeners are confused
  4. How s are you getting to the port? there are grocery stores and Walgreens close by if you are driving yourself not sure cabs or Ubers will allow a “shopping stop”
  5. They won’t be able to make any adjustments when you are on the ship so call and get it fixed now.
  6. It is in the Celebrity documentation but the problem is that it is contradictory. In one place in the E docs it says two per state room and in another, it says two per person.
  7. Be careful because I think you need to have your kids next to you or across the hall from you. If one of you get a move up and the other doesn’t, you could be in trouble. Also I don’t think that getting a concierge class stateroom gets you any real priority in dining preferences so don’t look for that to happen.
  8. There’s a big difference between the enjoyment of a forward facing lounge (“we are coming up on a great waterfall, get your cameras ready” “there’s a whale up ahead”) and aft-facing views, no matter how dramatic the windows (“ we just passed a whale, hope you got to see it as we sail away from it”). The two aren’t equivalent in my view.
  9. It won’t appear on the app until you board, and even then it takes a few hours up to a day.
  10. Yes, you need to give them a way to track your gambling if you ever want to get an offer.
  11. Some include them (always included) and some don’t (simply sail)
  12. Have you checked the app? It usually indicates these or you can infer from the menus. There could be two or three evening chic nights.
  13. Two bottles per person (adult person that is) can be brought aboard at embarkation. If enjoyed in the stateroom there is no corkage. If taken unopened to the dining room tgere may or may not be corkage charged depending on if you have a drinks package or not. main dining room dinners usually last one and a half or two hours. check your booking reservation form to see if you have Select, Early or Late dining. Or consult your travel agent.
  14. Unless the Two cruisers who are in their 30’s and are double (maybe triple by now) Zeniths
  15. I think that is supposed to be a joke.
  16. Yes, don’t think about so much as an upgrade as a “down Price” You pick the state room you want, and they charge you the price of one category below that, within the parameters given. Also there must be an available stateroom in that category below, so they know what price to charge you. Example, you want to book a V2 stateroom. There are no V3 staterooms available, so no upgrade. so you decide to book a V1 stateroom. There are V2 staterooms available so you will get the V1 for the V2 price. When it comes to Aqua class, there are only A2 and A1. If there are any A2 available, they will give you an A1 for the A2 price.
  17. Well I’ve already made the booking, so that ship has sailed. I have never had any problems with them in the past and I’m hoping all will go well. Just wondering when the points will be expected to drop.
  18. I’ve posted photos of many bar menus here on cruise critic but now I can’t search for them anymore. If you can, you should be able to find menus for cellar masters, Craft Central, sky lounge, and others
  19. Here’s a PUP question. I booked 2 “flights by celebrity” under the current promotion. I am hoping that I will see the five Captains Club points for each booking (10 total) on or about December 14 even though the flights are not until April and October. Is that how you understand it to work?
  20. Call Captains Club and give them your C & A number and they will enroll you. You don’t need to wait until you are Diamond on Royal to do this.
  21. Do you have Select Dining or Early or Late Fixed dining?
