I’m still confused. Say you have a Venetian number and you are going to cruise on Celebrity. What level would you be? What would it get you!
-
What would your Captain’s Club status have gotten you?
-
Since none of us know her, I’m not sure we can answer, but there are plenty of daily activities pages from Celebrity Cruises that you she can look at online and make a determination.

Many thanks!

Eden is a lovely place to sit on sea days. It is at the back of the ship but it's a great view. Also the solarium is nice.
There is a big difference between a front facing view. “there’s a lovely waterfall up ahead, get your cameras ready. “ and a rear facing view “ we just passed a waterfall, hope you got to see it”

There are no front facing public rooms on any of the E class ships

After many cruises with Celebrity and RCCL we are considering trying Silversea (or Viking) for an "elevated" experience on a European cruise. I am seeing conflicting info on the Celebrity and Silversea websites. For Captain's Club members (Elite Plus), is there a status match for Silversea cruises?
what are you seeing? Can you provide a link to this conflicting information? I have never seen anything to indicate any reciprocity, and in fact, as others have stated, there is none, but I would be interested to know what you have read to the contrary.

Probably not but it doesn’t hurt to ask

Have you been on during Christmas or Easter? That’s when Celebrity bring clergy on board.

Lawn club Grill if you have a late night in port or an evening sail away

i’m very impressed with your ability to post all these menus. I can’t imagine that you typed them all in, so you must’ve captured them somehow? Can you explain how you did it?

So I see Oceanview offers theme nights like your example above Taste of India. It looks like the main dining rooms don't offer that, correct?
That is correct

There will not be a Catholic mass. There may be a nondenominational service, but there will not be a mass.

I can't find where I saw it on the Celebrity site (thanks to their really stinky IT department) but I also saw that if you bring sodas/water on board it has to be in cans no plastic or glass bottles/containers. It isn't the content of the containers it is the containers. The only bottles I have read that can be brought on board are wine. Even alcohol in bottles, well any container, is confiscated until the end of the cruise.
I know of no place on the Celebrity siteswhere this restriction is stated. I would be very interested if you can find it. I have seen many people on Cruisecritic state it but never have seen any actual link to any Celebrity policy.
my suspicion is that some other cruise line might have this limitation and people have gotten mixed up with what they read where

I am somewhat confused by the response you received. In a prior post I asked about bringing sodas on board and was told that while I could bring them they would have to be in cans - no plastic or glass bottles. Is that not the case?
Told by whom?

Unfortunately dressing up big time is a thing of the past. However you do what makes you feel good. We use to dressup with hubby in a tux and I in a long gown. Now hubby wears dress pants and nice shirt. I usually wear dress pants and a nice blouse. We just sailed on Ascent and saw 1 tux. Evening Chic is what you want it to be.
Currently on Sillhouette and there are many people dressed up quite elegantly on Chic nights. Lots of sparkle and are real effort made. Not everyone of course but it’s clear that most are dressing up, not down. We have 3 chic nights on this TA.

Which ship and where?
-
I can’t say that anyone has a definitive answer to this. Many people have tried to sign up for them and have repeatedly failed. There is an incredibly long thread about PowerUp points and as soon as an Activity is announced, someone kindly posts it there and usually we get link of how we can all sign up at that time for that activity

As fancy as she wants but fabrics that don’t need pressing are best. Maybe go for low heeled shoes instead of high heels because you never know if the ship will be rocking.

It was announced to Zeniths about 6-7 weeks ago. Zeniths can now book a cruise only rate in a suite. While it is a nice addition, the cruise only rate is only about $40-45 pp pd lower than the regular suite price. Initially most thought the price would be reduced by the the $75-90 pp pd day price difference between cruise only and AI on a AQ or CC cabin. Still we saved $1,600 on a booking, so I’m not complaining.
Oh I see. But I would not call that a discount, just a different booking option. But I get where you are coming from.

But you don’t get Power Up points on the river cruises ……
