  1. ~~ when they take your drink orders they flip the menu on its side so the other waiters won’t bug you.  This is in Cafe AlBacio and the buffet

~~ if you ever have an “off” smell in your bathroom, try pouring a couple of glasses of water down the drain in the floor (not the drain in the shower)

~~ keeping the door to the verandah closed helps reduce the “whoosh” sound it can create

Whatever Cabin number is this? We are seriously consider a Porthole Veranda n our Beyond Sailing. It appears all are listed as obstructed by default. Side view aft pictures indicate the equipment obstruction is only at the far aft couple of staterooms.

It was far forward, not far aft.

I think some of the confusion is Sky Suites were not allowed into Michael’s Club until late 2015.

And strangely enough, they have never updated the app on reflection to show that sky suite passengers are allowed into Michael’s.

That's super interesting. I'm guessing they were trying to take the load off of Oceanview because everyone would be up there trying to grab lunch.

    I believe so.

  5. Married couples will be able to get matching points and tier status.

if you don’t want to call to get this corrected then report it to the Captains Club concierge on your next cruise and they can shoot an email to the loyalty desk to get the equality

  6. So today I have experienced for the first time that Luminae and the main dining room were open on port days with early departures. we are in Tortola BVI with all aboard at 2:00 and both are open for lunch so I now stand corrected having seen it with my own eyes.

We took the body wash pump out of the shower and left it on the sink for handwashing during the day. Popped it back in the shower when needed. We’re not great fans of bars of soap.

In many, if not all of the state rooms, those bottles are firmly attached to the wall. Ask your state room attendant for a second bottle of body wash to leave at the sink.

Yes, best to take your own. If taking only carry on, find a Dollar Tree near port to get Soft soap and hand sanitizer plus any other toiletries you didn’t want to drag on your bag.

I don’t think dollar tree is worldwide. Since we don’t know where the OP is Cruising, this advice may not be worthwhile.

  9. They may make an unscheduled diversion to a nearby island, they may be close enough to some land that a helicopter can do an evacuation, and they may be able to rendezvous with some other ship.  On at least one occasion, a patient was transferred to a U.S. Navy medical ship. Every situation is different.

  10. What you described? Definitely takes place on S class ships. I don’t think it happens on E class but I can’t be sure of that. Only sure that it absolutely yes happens on S class.  Here are some people exiting that hatch and a view of a helipad.
