Drink menus at each bar, including the Martini Bar, simply list the specialty drinks at that bar. All regular mixed drinks can be covered in the classic alcohol package. In other words, $10 or less. Actually, I don't think there is a menu of "common" drinks. There are wine menus at some bars.
That is correct. There is no printed menu of “common” drinks.

No matter where the celebrity ships are in the world, the accounts are all processed through the Miami office and show as a US expense in US dollars.

Last night was chic and yes, the majority of people definitely got the memo.

See my post #533 above. You should be fine. And it’s easy to avoid the e class ships and their awful IV’s — just stick with M and S class ships.

Don't the S class ships have a theater? That would be an equivalent space for PW and allow the Sky Lounge to be available for everyone.
The S class ships have Celebrity Central. Much smaller than Sky Lounge. Here on Eclipse and also previously on silhouette the Celebrity Central was used for some of the Parkwest events. Also Quasar is being used some. So they are alternating between the three locations with different kinds of events being held in each.

Thanks, did they give you the schedule of the PW events and where they would be held as you posted on a previous cruise? Not all were in the Sky Lounge if I recall. TY
On my silhouette cruise, I picked up a paper that was lying on the floor and to my surprise it was the Parkwest schedule which I posted here on Cruise Critic. So getting it was just a random thing. I have not seen a similar schedule here on Eclipse.
as I was speaking to one of the concierge team about my dismay on finding Parkwest here on eclipse after enduring their takeover of Sky Lounge on my 3 successive Sillhouette cruises, he said that after the unhappy Eclipse cruises (as reported here on Cruise Critic,) Parkwest can no longer have the Sky Lounge from 9 am to 9 pm. They have to be done by 3, he told me. Well that’s somewhat better, I suppose.

I believe that the next dry dock is just after the transatlantic this spring. I have no idea if they will be installing a retreat sundeck at that time.

I have asked several people, and of course, they are pretty cagey about such things, but most recently, one of the shipboard concierges looked it up and said that he could see forward to the end of February 2025 and there were no special Parkwest groups through then on eclipse.

they make it difficult to book specialty restaurants ahead of the cruise. 🥲There will be plenty of people stationed around the dining venues who will be happy to make specialty dining reservations for you.

We are booked on the cruise after yours. Last cruise for us was in 2019, this will be our 22nd.
Couple of comments - Looked at the MDR menus on the app and was disappointed to find no filet on the menu at least once. On past cruises the option was always there on formal nights, now 'chic'. We've been on Royal, Carnival, Celebrity, Norwegian and other lines. When we tried to make a reservation for the specialty restaurants there were no times available on most nights. We did get one at 8:30. Hopefully when we get on board they will offer some times.
What do you think of the quality of the MDR food if you've eaten there?
Also, found there is only one main show at 9:00PM each evening. Our anytime dining res is at 8 in the MDR but it does not allow time change right now for anytime dining that I can see. We'd either have to eat at 7:00 or very late to see the show and not rush. On past cruises there were always two main shows each night so you could either catch the early or late show. This is very disappointing.
Unless you can tell me something different we may be eating in the OVC if we want to see the show. Thanks!
The app is unreliable, inaccurate, and not to be trusted.
There are two shows every night—7 and 9 pm

Yes, I had a photograph of the suite waiting area, which was grim, I wish I had photographed the general waiting area, which was really no better. Not somewhere you would ever want to spend any amount of time.
Presumably, arriving at four would mean that you would pass through the terminal quickly and be on the ship before you know it

I know a HAL ship refused to board someone that showed up 2 hours before departure time recently. I’m confused though, you said you selected your time, what’s that through Celebrity? Can’t you just show up earlier or is there a flight involved?
The OP said that there were plans to do some things in Boston.
since they assigned an arrival time for 4 PM, that would certainly indicate that showing up at 4 PM will not deny boarding. I wouldn’t come any later than that of course.

We loved the World Class Bar when we were on the Solstice. Have you been by there for a cocktail?
No, sorry, not my thing

Thanks for taking the time out of your vacation to post.
This continues to be ridiculous....
If it's at all possible, could you find out how much longer that they'll be on for?
I’m working on ascertaining this

My friends just got off the previous cruise and indicated the ship was old and tired. They have taken newer ships recently. What do you think? We were on the Slhouette in June which was updated and were pleased. Can you find out if the Eclipse is going to be updated similarly to how the Silhouette was updated? We're looking at a Transatlantic in 2026, so there's plenty of time for that upgrade.
I think the ship looks fine. I found a broken elevator button but nothing else that I have observed is in disrepair

I replied on your other thread. There is no need to worry about this ahead of the cruise. If you have any time dining, just request A to talk when you get to the maitre D stand. If you have fixed dining, tell the maitre D that you needed two top and you’ll get one.

They no longer mail them, if that’s what you are looking for, George35

No need to fret about pre-arranging. Just ask on board

Celebrity opened the silhouette for booking this morning. At 9 AM Eastern time it was nearly sold out. Is that an IT glitch? Did some large travel agencies book blocks of rooms? Even the onboard booking office staff was stunned that there was so little availability on that cruise this morning.

Celebrity does not require a formal wear. Their dressiest nights — chic nights — are less dressy than you have ex lperienced on other lines and there are no theme nights
