Neither, if you have a package, the gratuity is already taken care of when the package was purchased

It is a terrible oversight on Celebrity’s part that they have never brought the instructions into alignment. All of the e class dining rooms are open seating. on the M and S class ships the Select dining works differently and you can book your dining times on the app.. on the E class it appears the same but when you show up you will find that it’s all open seating. I wish we could tell you that it was different, because it’s annoying and confusing and doesn’t make you feel like Celebrity knows what it’s doing and honestly sometimes I get that feeling too.

I think what actually happened is that you showed up at the time that you had picked on the app and there didn’t happen to be a line so you were seated immediately. Have there been a line of people waiting, I don’t think you would have found that your reservation did you any good.

No they will not be honored. It is annoying and confusing, but on the e class ships no matter even if it looks like you have made pre-cruise dining reservations, you really haven’t.

Well that’s a pretty gross generalization. You don’t know the families and what they like to do and what they have planned.

Go to the app and you should be able to pull up menus for your ship’s bars

What attracted you to the 7 day cruise strongly enough to book it?

Why are you considering this? Price? Itinerary? Type of stateroom? Date?

It has been discussed every time someone stumbles across this website. Several times over the last 10 years or so at least. Not happening.

I was once told that the actual proper name of each ship is Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Constellation and so on. That Celebrity is part of their official name. Can anyone confirm?

Those would be additional to the normal bed for the two of you If you don’t have other passengers with you, children or family members, you’ll never even recognize that they are extra berths. (The upper bed comes down from a panel in the ceiling and is hidden away when not in use)

They will get your money, one way or the other, so there is no reason to fret about prepaying.
