  1. Did you forget that you already started a thread on this? https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2980253-elite-dining-perks/#comment-66620469
  2. On the e class ships, even though the system looks like you can make reservations for the complimentary dining in fact the dining rooms are all open seating. The website and app has never been updated which is a very confusing thing. on M & S class ships you can make reservations for the main dining room, but not an E class ships.
  3. That would be one bizarre Los Angeles to Vancouver cruise
  4. I believe you put your finger on it. It is directing US citizens to contact the US government when visiting foreign ports, but Catalina is not one. Once again, no one at Celebrity IT proofread the copy
  5. Same for decoy. $2 upcharge as of December 2023 on Reflection
  6. Sorry my mistake. You are correct. Elite plus and above.
  7. But the warning is clearly aimed at US citizens, as evidenced by the website they referred to.
  8. You don’t have fixed dining despite the appearances because the e class ships don’t have fixed dining. What you, and tge clueless representative saw, is an artefact of the booking system.
  9. Who gave the permission? Pre cruise or during the cruise? How did you bring it aboard?
  10. No one knows. They have never revealed any sort of schedule.
  11. That is correct…it’s a different crew member who services the mini bar
  12. I would definitely recommend that you split into two groups. It’s difficult to serve large tables and have everyone get there food all at once, the staff will have a much easier time with two smaller people and you will probably have a more pleasant dining experience.
  13. Same happened on millennium on the panama canal, there were too many for the specialty restaurants. So they used part of the main dining room
  14. Consult the instructions you will get in your stateroom, but most probably Tuscan, which is where it was last time I was on that ship
  15. Coordinate this with the Blu Maitre D who will communicate with the MDR staff for you.
  16. Don’t worry if they don’t. Just tell the porter at the pier and he will hand write tags for you.
  17. Very easy to do. You can order a bottle of wine with dinner and take the rest back to the stateroom or get an unopened bottle to take to your quarters and your steward will bring you a corkscrew and glasses.
  18. Yes the casino will serve you while you are actively gambling, during the hours trey are open, so not when you’re in port and for a while active departure as tge ship must be so many miles offshore for the casino to open. your Captains Club and Blue Chip Club don’t matter, just that you are actively gambling
  19. hopefulCruiser, are you trying to find out about buying a bottle of wine on the ship, from one of the bars or dining rooms, and taking it to your state room? Or are you asking about buying a bottle in port and bringing it all the ship?
  20. The length of the cruise doesn’t alter the allowance
