  1. I've seen it done. Saw many walk up to the counter with a tote bag and ask for unopened beverages, beer, soda or water. I amazed when someone brags that they took 10 waters/beer/whatever home. M
  2. Diamond drinks are NOT valid the last morning ( departure). They cut off every morning at something like 3 am. There are none on the last morning. If one is given a specialty coffee (as stated above) the barista is being kind, and I hope tipped appropriately. They don't want to make a passenger mad by telling them the vouchers don't work that last morning as some passengers will get upset and give low survey ratings. M
  3. Lovely, but not an example of what the OP may expect. I'm sure it was a special as a special evening for you both. OP - unless you or your travel agent ordered something special, you can expect a candle in a piece of cake. The staff will sing Happy birthday to you. They ask the night as some want to celebrate on formal night, or some other night during the cruise. Enjoy
  4. I was under the impression that they can't take anything that is left unless it is specifically marked as such. When we've left a bottle of wine for the cabin attendant, the attendant has asked us to put a note on it that indicates it is for him/her. There are lots of beverages left outside the cabin doors long with dirty plats, ice buckets etc. To answer the OP - use it for most anything you want. Juice, soda, water, specialty coffee, smoothies at the spa on Oasis ships. M
  5. Often, we don’t use every voucher, and that is OK. i’ve never had a day when I’ve used all that have been allocated. I admit, it is difficult to leave an unused voucher at first but if you don’t need your vouchers, then just don’t bother to get a beverage at the end of the day. I’m not sure what happens to the bottles of water left in cabins at the end of a cruise. I don’t know if they have to trash them or they can put back into stock. m
  6. My thoughts as well. Why the big splash and then nothing. I think the celebration announcement was made before anyone checked with Liberty’s thought process and budget. We are still in the 25th year, yet we never hear anything about the “celebration“ m
  7. I'm sorry, I have no idea what that means, but I hope it means you can watch your preferred game. enjoy. M (PS - grew up in West Phila. Still a Philly fan. Wish I was watching the 76ers instead of Celtics/Heat) M
  8. yes. If your cruise is not too far off, you can go to the cruise planner (on line) and the royal up will show up there. Had the option in the planner for a cruise 8 weeks out. M
  9. I don't expect anything but when on board we were shown promotional videos about the 25th anniversary celebration and it mentioned that the "celebration" would continue all year. We were shown the videos at top tier events. Maybe no one cleared it with Jason Liberty. M
  10. I'm always amazed at the items passenger ether received for free or take and then try to sell on Ebay. Naturally there are many C&A gifts such as totes, the new toiletry bags etc. Crystal blocks are plentiful. But one surprise I saw was a small bar of RCCL bath soap for sale for $7.99 +$3.75 for shipping. Part of the "Salt+Breeze" collection, you know the free upgraded bathroom amenities. Also saw a set of zipper pulls that one gets at trivia for sale for $14 plus $5 shipping. In fact. lots of trivia contest prizes. I thought folks played for the cheap prizes, but now I see it is big business! 😀 Of course, I have no idea what sells and for how much. However, apparently, I have a gold mine in my storage closet. I think I just discovered how I can pay for our next cruise!😀🚢 M
  11. We were on Wonder for two weeks and we asked the LA about the 25th anniversary gift. I thought I had seen a video about some gifts and a few on social media showed 25th anniversary baseball hats. He said some gifts (hats) are brought onboard for one or two specific sailings per ship. When the 25th anniversary was announced, RCCL made it out to be some great celebration. I guess if I wanted a hat, I could get one on Ebay or Etsy. M Edit - a quick search revealed NO 25th anniversary hats on Ebay. LOTS of other options though.
  12. We paid $225 pp ( about a month ago) for the dining package on Wonder. The price fluctuated from $225 pp to $260 pp. I see it is even higher now. We caught it at $225. We paid the same amount about 8 months ago for a recent Wonder sailing, so I was glad there was no increase from almost a year ago. Glad we book it wehn we did. I wonder if that $187 was ever available? M
  13. Was recently on Wonder. I didn't see TVs at Mason Jar. Not to burst your bubble, but there is no way to predict which game(s) will be shown. M
  14. We had late dining on grandeur and waitlisted for MTD. Cruise is in July. A few weeks ago I happened to look at the planner on line ( not the app) and saw that I could make MTD reservations. I have no idea when the dining was changed to MTD. There was no communication from RCCL. Regarding a two-top, we’ve been accommodated every cruise, large or small ship, MTD or traditional dining, pre or post Covid. m
  15. Don’t recall tv’s but there is live music in the evenings. This was on Wonder m
  16. We specifically asked for Wonder on March 2023 and were told NO. Don’t think we would have given up a speciality dinner even if it was allowed. m
  17. ReneeFLL - I see we are on Jewel together. Even though they won't last long, I'll likely bring some tulips (if still in bloom) on board. What about you? M
  18. Sadly, the booking window is closing due to pricing.
  19. We have them in 8X10 albums. Jokingly, I've told the family that there is money hidden behind random photos. Thay way they need to take a look at them! M
  20. Wonder if JS benefits will change to be in line with suite benefits ( CK, etc) M
  21. Once and done! We did it recently on Wonder because we had the UDP. We never considering dining there even using the RCCL BOGO. There is a lot of hype, but I was always satisfied not to dine there. There was no Madhatter but I can't Imagine that would have made the meal any better. I had already had the World dessert at another cruise event a few months earlier so didn't order it this time. I think we were the only table not ordering that dessert. The meal was just OK. I wasn't crazy about what the server brought. We told him to bring whatever he suggested, so not much we could say about the food selection. We did order our choice of entrees, which neither of us particularly liked. After the meal, my husband went to Johnny Rockets for a burger. 🍔 M
  22. Celebrity extends benefits to cabin mates for the current cruise. RCCL does not. M
