  1. I think I did that….I’m not the best at doing this stuff…but I tried. Thanks for your help.
  2. Thanks, I was looking for it. I’ll see what I can do.
  3. I just gave it a try…hopefully it worked! Check it out.
  4. It is very hard to find, I have found it and lost it several times!
  5. Taken just before I posted it. from Victoria, British Columbia
  6. No, you do not not to gamble a lot. On a 7 day cruise I only spend an average of $300-$400 max depending on how many see days there are. I have no idea how I was picked.
  7. The first time I got a casino free cruise I didn’t believe I thought it was a scam, I just about deleted. Instead I phoned the general HAL line and enquired about it…they transferred me over to the Casino section and I booked 4 free cruises last year.
  8. A couple of cruises are showing up on my site this morning…could be different offers for different people though. Fiji/S Pacific 13 day $67 morocco/Iberian Passage 16 day $135
  9. I received the same offer…it’s a casino offer. I received my email mid afternoon there were some excellent deals but all the low rate offers have been taken. All the rates I see now are higher.
  10. It looks like she off and on her way. IT’s dark here but I can see cruise ship lights out in Esquimalt harbour heading south! Hope the voyage south goes well and soon everyone is off and enjoying their Christmas cruise.
  11. I can she her lights, She’s on her way over to Vic Shipyards.
  12. From a Victoria source…. Carnival Panorama will be getting her pilot tomorrow morning (Dec 14) around 6:00 am and will be moving from Ogden Point over to the North Wall in Esquimalt Harbour to get her whale tail funnel put back on.
  13. Picture taken 10:30 am Victoria time. They’re working on it!
  14. Carnival Panorama still in Victoria……..complete with funnel!
  15. I was told I was not eligible for Military OBC on a casino comped cruise.
  16. Yes, I would be getting off the ship the last day/night of the cruise. Princess cruises do this exact thing on a regular basis…it just needs to be approved.
  17. I am thinking of booking a 2024 Alaska cruise r/t Seattle on either Bliss or Encore. I am wondering if anyone has experience, good or bad, at dis-embarking in Victoria. Thanks
  18. I had that experience with Princess years ago…I am elite and everyone else around me was getting good offers on cruises but none for me. (I’m a solo cruiser and that doesn’t help either…I don’t think they like solo cruisers)! I would phone and enquire and Princess would say it’s the luck of the draw! I started cruising other cruise lines and haven’t cruised with Princess since.
  19. You don’t need to wear orange but it adds to the fun if you do. Doesn’t need to be anything elaborate…an orange feather boa, an orange scarf, orange headband, an orange tie for men, orange t-shirt. It’s held in one of the lounges just music, dancing and free Dutch appies passed around.
  20. This interests me….I have asked my PCC several times about disembarking in Victoria the night prior to Seattle and have been told it is not possible. Has anyone reading this post been able to get off in Victoria and how did you arrange it?
  21. For me, Betty Ann added nothing special or exciting to my cruise experience. I wouldn’t miss her at all if she wasn’t there. But then again, maybe she does a lot ‘behind the scenes’ that we don’t know about.
  22. Going north a lot of the trip might be at night ( depending on when you go) but coming back down the inside passage is most of your last day and the scenery is gorgeous. We saw orcas and porpoises several times during the day.
