  1. Hard to say, but I’m thinking any difference in balcony size based on this variation will be a matter of inches rather than feet. Unless it means the difference between fitting a lounger or not.
  2. Yes that makes sense, because people might prefer sun or shade and one side will often have more.
  3. Maybe afternoon tea is limited to cabins only, but I’m not sure if that is an elite benefit or for everyone.
  4. Which would be kind of silly because it’s relatively inexpensive to make, probably one of the cheaper options. Same with the Alfredo.
  5. Are people in C2 cabanas limited to the cabana deck on their own side of the ship?
  6. I’m surprised those signs didn’t get taken down once gas pumps started accepting Apple Pay.
  7. Never thought of that either, especially since QM2 has cove balconies and I don’t think they’ve ever been covered with a metal door.
  8. No worries, I didn’t take it as critical. I’m always happy to answer questions if it helps others.
  9. Yes. I’d get us cabins near the Lido and he’d get himself a cup of coffee or a slice of pizza. When he was too far along with the disease I didn’t take him on cruises anymore.
  10. Really? Those ducks are pretty well hidden…or maybe I’m just extremely oblivious lol.
  11. When my Dad’s Alzheimer’s started progressing to where he’d have a hard time finding his way, I would print a Greek flag to bring on cruises and put on his cabin door so he could find the cabin more easily. I’m glad this silly rule didn’t exist then.
  12. And the bulk of it is the week before and the week after Easter in most schools.
  13. I agree with this logic, and would add the additional concern of not wanting the bed too far from the bathroom, but that might be an age thing lol
  14. Room 2017 or the year 2017? lol
  15. I wouldn’t even mind the glass being high so much, especially on a transatlantic, if it wasn’t blue. Even the cabana deck on the renderings shows high glass, but not in blue, so obviously that was one of those last minute bad decisions. Or maybe they’ve just forgotten to remove the protective plastic seal 🤷🏻‍♀️
  16. The Island Princess is even worse. The gym is in the basement with no windows at all.
  17. You booked 4 cabins? Sounds like a great time!
  18. Still cheaper than $1800-$3500 on Royal Caribbean’s private island.
  19. And still no shade there either
  20. Nice! Thanks for the photos. Do the doors from the cabana to the cabin fold out also?
  21. I’m not saying it’s logical, in fact I’d call it baffling. It’s not like Princess never introduced a new class of ship before. They’re not amateurs. So when it’s obvious to us mere passengers, who have zero experience in shipbuilding, that the ship is nowhere near on schedule, how can it be a surprise to Princess?
  22. That’s hard to do when looking at the January 20 pictures of the ship. This looks to me like they’d known for some time that Feb 8 and Feb 18 would not be happening. Apologies are appropriate for accidental and even negligent conduct. Deliberate actions are an entirely different kettle of fish.
