You’d think with so many people getting AI and drink packages, they’d want passengers staying on their balconies rather than diluting their profit. Let’s hope stoolgate has been resolved based on the poster who said the footstools have been returned on their sailing. I’ll be on Infinity in two weeks so I guess we’ll see.

Yes, we're a tough crowd and heavy on the schadenfreude. I feel bad for those first time cruisers who wander here innocently asking about power strips and steamers, only to be accused of wanting to burn the ship down.

I took it as asking "will I get thrown off the ship, or will the gummies just be confiscated?" rather than being upset for not liking facts. If anything, some of your responses seem more hostile than the OP's. The OP has said on numerous occasions that given the consequences, they aren't going to do it. Maybe you missed those responses.

Given the number of cameras onboard I’d say this is a really bad idea. You have no idea what’s visible on their security monitors.

Have any of you with bookings on the inaugural sailing been invited to join the pre-inaugural VIP sailing? Usually by now those invites would be out there since people have to change flights.

If it were only on the common cabana deck I’d agree. Unfortunately it’s also on the cabana minis whose balconies are directly on the ocean. In other words, your own personal balcony will have 6 feet high blue glass.

This is my hope for some of the other design flaws, especially the earlier mentioned double-height blue balcony glass on the C2 cabanas….yes I’m obsessed….people will complain and Princess will correct their mistakes with the Star.

It’s not really a theme park from what I can tell. It seems more like a glorified sports deck.

I don’t think it’s anywhere near as visible as the water parks on the other ships, if at all from off the ship. I can’t even see it on those sea trials videos. The designers seem to have deliberately kept it somewhat hidden unless you’re on the same deck looking at it. Hopefully it’s easy to avoid. I had two cruises last year on Enchantment of the Seas, a smaller, older ship about the size of Coral Princess. Apparently there was a rock climbing wall. Never noticed it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hmmm I thought that was a public deck so I must have been looking one higher. Why would they do this, no one wants balcony glass over your head and especially blue! Totally ruining the view.

Well this is a relief…..unless I’m looking at the wrong deck, it looks like the C2 cabana minis will not have double height blue glass on the balcony. That would have been a disaster.

I think if you book a balcony in the lower half of the sphere you’ll be able to look down over the ocean

I never had the benefit of BBB since I started sailing Celebrity in 2019 and if they had it back then I wasn’t aware.

Do they still call it Always? I thought it’s All Included now. Both of which of course are no longer true, but I won’t unpack all that right now 😉
