  1. Exactly. What some of the apologists don’t understand that once an offer is accepted, it is no longer an offer. It is a binding agreement. That is Contracts 101.
  2. I’ve actually been surprised at how well the photo taken by the check in staff comes out. Much better than the horrible selfie taking during online check in. Interestingly, when I upload a photo during online check in, it is accepted at the pier on Royal Caribbean but not on Celebrity. This was true for the same photo used on both my October RC cruise and February Celebrity cruise, and both were in Athens. 🤷🏻‍♀️
  3. Which makes what happened to the OP even more sketchy. Celebrity doesn’t run Move Up but they sure seem capable of unraveling it when they want to. Isn’t that part of “running it?” This appears to be happening even though the regulations are pretty clear that once a Move Up bid is accepted it can’t be revoked. There are no provisions saying that Celebrity can back out of the deal.
  4. A lot of people on CC don’t understand the difference between what’s allowed in the contract and good customer service.
  5. Thank you so much for taking the time to look into this. I’m glad to see there are a lot of out of the way public decks on the ship.
  6. Great thread with lots of information, thank you for all you’ve shared with us. I saw you verified the aft decks with the stairs are public and accessible. Have you checked out the forward decks as well? It looks like decks 10-14 have doors leading out to them so I was curious.
  7. I thought that as well, but last month when I booked on board I had the option of booking refundable on an Aqua Sky Suite for Infinity in 2026. I decided against it because it seemed silly to pay a couple thousand more to save $200, and with it being an Israel itinerary there’s a chance the sailing will change and prompt a refund anyway.
  8. Yes I’d love to see a return of standard height tables. And UBD’s that are actually on the balcony!
  9. Hard to say, but I’m thinking any difference in balcony size based on this variation will be a matter of inches rather than feet. Unless it means the difference between fitting a lounger or not.
  10. Yes that makes sense, because people might prefer sun or shade and one side will often have more.
  11. Maybe afternoon tea is limited to cabins only, but I’m not sure if that is an elite benefit or for everyone.
  12. Which would be kind of silly because it’s relatively inexpensive to make, probably one of the cheaper options. Same with the Alfredo.
  13. Are people in C2 cabanas limited to the cabana deck on their own side of the ship?
  14. I’m surprised those signs didn’t get taken down once gas pumps started accepting Apple Pay.
  15. Never thought of that either, especially since QM2 has cove balconies and I don’t think they’ve ever been covered with a metal door.
  16. No worries, I didn’t take it as critical. I’m always happy to answer questions if it helps others.
  17. Yes. I’d get us cabins near the Lido and he’d get himself a cup of coffee or a slice of pizza. When he was too far along with the disease I didn’t take him on cruises anymore.
  18. Really? Those ducks are pretty well hidden…or maybe I’m just extremely oblivious lol.
  19. When my Dad’s Alzheimer’s started progressing to where he’d have a hard time finding his way, I would print a Greek flag to bring on cruises and put on his cabin door so he could find the cabin more easily. I’m glad this silly rule didn’t exist then.
  20. And the bulk of it is the week before and the week after Easter in most schools.
  21. I agree with this logic, and would add the additional concern of not wanting the bed too far from the bathroom, but that might be an age thing lol
  22. Room 2017 or the year 2017? lol
  23. I wouldn’t even mind the glass being high so much, especially on a transatlantic, if it wasn’t blue. Even the cabana deck on the renderings shows high glass, but not in blue, so obviously that was one of those last minute bad decisions. Or maybe they’ve just forgotten to remove the protective plastic seal 🤷🏻‍♀️
