So follow up! Spent almost an hour on ANZ call line, My ANZ Access Card "Cannot" be used for direct "Online" payments, I need a separate "Debit Card" account, It can be used for Direct Debits and it can be used for EFPOS but not online payments so I blow a Raspberry again at Ya because people shouldn't presume what works for them must be set in stone for everyone! lol

Must be my mistake as I presumed a debit card was like a credit card with no credit! Well it used to be many moons ago! I will check my AMEX for TI Thanks.

My ANZ card is not a "Debit Card" according to the bank helpline and I have to open a separate Debit Card acc! Maybe They were wrong? Maybe I am too old to understand but Debit cards were credit cards that you had to put your own money on to use as a credit card thus my statement "Rassberry"!

The sofa bed doesn't look too bad if a cheap Twin was booked! We would have this cabin no problems, looks better set out room wise than having the usual twin beds at 90 Degrees to this I presume the cabin is too narrow to have the beds the other way? My Cruise advise is Twin Queen with pop up bunks, and we requested Queen. we did book late on a very popular Bali cruise Fremantle to Fremantle. Nice find by the way!

4 berth in 4 berth and 4 berth into queen. If you requested twin it could be the ones that come out of the wall but I also think that type is Inside cabin 4 berth.

Are you sure you are checking the right deck plans? many agents are still using the old Princess deck plans as are many of the online deck plans , P&O Explorer 4 berth balconies are of 2 types, foldable uppers that come out of the wall if needed and those that raise up from on top of lower bed , when in twin or queen the top bunks lower and become top of the twin/queen configuration bed with no space underneath the bed in essence 2 beds on top of each other that look like standard Twin/Queen. Tip when booking a P&O cruise call P&O direct first and ask for a cruise planner, they will let you choose your cabin at the Guarantee price.

Why stress yourself? just book a night in Sydney! Its hard enough making a Domestic flight to Perth from Sydney after a cruise let alone international. SFO option who wants to add 8 hours to a 14 hour flight? Would add up to at least 25 hours total with Airport time. We always stay at least 1 night before and after even on domestic cruises its just less stressful.

Our last trip to USA from Australia we had to show hard copy proof of ESTA at the airport when checking in or we would have been denied boarding. What's changed in a few years?

I am too financial established to have a "Debit" card! lol What a total Crock! I can pay via bank deposit but that option is not on the table? So to get out of fees I must open a "Debit Card"? What has the world come too? P&O will accept gift card VISA but not Direct deposit? LMFAO! Con of the century! Debit credit cards are there for those who cannot manage a CC acc!

So how do I get out of paying CC fees for final payment? Seems P&O have no direct debit options. This also means If I added OBC or pay for shore tours before the cruise I would have to pay fees! At present I have AMEX which P&O charges 2.75% I just cant believe I cannot pay final payment through my Bank Acc

A Penthouse suite on a "Barge" would do me! You get the top onboard suite Perks you get the best cabin size available and you will be treated like Royalty by staff! Why even ask? Do It

P&O dont seem to have a waitlist for tours. Any experience on cancellations we are still 6 months out.

Anyone done this? Apart from the Champaign and strawberries in cabin it includes 2 breakfasts in bed, canopies on 2 nights? and a specialty restaurant dinner for two. I know its not really economical but are there restrictions on the Specialty Restaurant part? I cant seem to find the T&C,s Cheers.

We use AMEX almost exclusively and have only ever come across a few small shops and businesses who do not accept AMEX. The fees for paying for an Aussie cruise with AMEX are high though at 3.5% I used to use 28Degree for all my trips but since they changed the benefits of no foreign exchange fees are just as good with AMEX.

I have been vaping since I gave up a heavy smoking habit almost 12 years ago and have vaped in staterooms on all my cruises! Nobody can tell if you have been vaping or not and it leaves no lingering smell or damage! I have even had Stewards come in the stateroom after I had just taken a puff by accident. Big clouds of vape come from what is called "Sub Ohm" vaping, ex smokers who have never returned to smoking ever don't usually Sub Ohm or do smelly flavours. I do though disagree with all the nicotine filled disposable vapes being sold under the counter the past year and almost in plain sight as I know many young people at work who never smoked but now vape and have become addicted. Like smoking if you are respectful of others then the harm is your own. Vapes do not set off fire alarms and I even know past Qantas flight staff who vaped in the restrooms. "Stealth vaping" is just that! a quick puff in a toilet cubical or empty area that harms nobody else! With extractor fans I cant see a problem with having one side of the casino vaping only other than from those who demand to enter every area of the casino even though they do not gamble! Same as when smoking was allowed one side of the casino.

So for convenience could I just book the Waterfront 8.30pm for the entire 12 nights and then just cancel the odd night for the other 2? We are a bit weird we still prefer Traditional style dinning on a large table, Our last cruises on Carnival USA and RCL it was still TD and my last P&O we just booked ATD for 8.30 for every night in one hit and had the same shared table.

Cant change as there are none left! only choice was this cabin, one outside the laundry or one with adjoining doors! I dont think they look any different to the 2 berth when collapsed but little space under the bed
