My trick for being able to chew and enjoy those delicious sandwiches is to ask them to slice the meat very thin and then when I get to the table I mash the top of the sandwich down to kind of soften the bread, lol. It works for me, oh I also take off the fennel seeds or whatever is on top of the bread as I don't like it. Looking forward to these on our Allure b2b a week from today!

This will be our first time to port in St. Thomas. We will be on Royal's Wonder of the Seas in October, hubby, my mom (uses a cane and occasionally a walker), and myself. Mom wants to do a ship excursion most likely but are open to other options.

Are the tours with AJ private or a group tour? We will be on RCCL Allure of the Seas.

It depends on your offer. It will say drink in the casino or drinks everywhere onboard and look to see if it's for you and a companion or just you. Our offer is for drinks everywhere onboard for both of us.

Thanks for the information! Ours includes drinks anywhere onboard the ship so not just in the casino. Glad to know it will hopefully start on day one when the casino opens.

We're going on our first Ellite Casino Cruise on the Dream soon. We have "drinks on us" everywhere onboard and wondering if it will start as soon as we board.

We tipped the driver $10, Dora's helper-$20, Dora-$40. Yes we probably overtipped but it was great tour and were usually a little extra generous tippers. We figure if we can afford to travel like we do we can pass it forward. In general at home or travel we tip around 20%. Everything is US dollars.

Also wondering how the current Presidents Cruise is going. I was hoping someone would do a live.

I haven't received any input on The Bahamas board maybe someone here has some experience with some of these excursions. We appreciate any input!

Were in Spa Cabin 12208 on the Dream sailing 8/12 this will be our first Spa Cabin. We normally like to get the thermal pass so figured we would get a spa cabin this time.

@TxTeach79 what tender were you on? I'm guessing one of the first ones with all the empty beach chairs when you got there. Were on the Dream 8/12 & first time going to HMC so excited to see your pictures and wanting to make sure to get on an early tender. Were Platinum so hopefully that will help. We're sailing on the Carnival Dream & it's a Casino Elite Cruise so we have the choice of a free excursion or money($150/each) towards booking one onboard. Has anyone done any of these excursions? We were planning on staying onboard in Freeport or just looking around the port area but now might do an excursion. 1.Pirate's Cove Beach with lunch and drinks (this is the one offered to use free) 2. Pirate's Cove Private Ocean View Cabana (sold out but will ask onboard) 3. Ultimate Party: Cruise, Snorkel, Beach & BBQ 4. Shipwrecked Castaways: Adult only Beach
