The CO upgrade benefit is optimal in the verandah category because of the many price differences- not so much in other category cabins.

We have been told to just buy a $100 FCD each and then if we book a longer cruise they will just charge the additional cost (max $200 each if not world cruise) at the time of booking. Each person needs a FCD.

A 7 day cruise is also not the best determining factor- stay on for the 14 day British Isles extension and get a true European experience!

Just got another one today- got off the Oosterdam in November and this makes the fourth one we've received. We did already use the original one.

We email a statement every July (after the shareholder credit is approved for another year) and list all our cruises for the next 12 months to get it all done in one shot. We keep the email as well for proof.

We spent 3 days pre-cruise in Trieste (rather than Venice) in October and enjoyed it much more than overcrowded Venice.

If food quality is a major cruise concern, try Oceania or Viking- much superior to HAL

We went to the Canaletto this past Saturday night for the grilled jumbo shrimp special but they didn’t have any and had lobster as the substitute for no additional cost. We are currently in the Med so it was strange that they couldn’t find shrimp!

We received RoyalUp bids for several suite categories for a Dec cruise but when doing a dummy booking to check room locations we only see a single 2 bdrm suite available. Do they hold back cabins just for this purpose?

We use any extras to bring back sodas and give them to the room stewards. We ask what kind they like and they can share with their friends.

We had the Chops lunch as Key members in Norway last month and also prepaid for another lunch on sea day. Worst steak we have ever had in a specialty restaurant, We normally sail on HAL and there was no comparison to the Pinnacle Grille steaks. Would not have gone the second time if not prepaid. We will not pay for any specialty restaurants on our December RCI cruise.

We used the wash and fold bags twice on a recent Jewel cruise with lightweight poly/spandex tops, asked for cold water wash and low heat dry and everything was perfect. They would have melted in a high heat dryer so instructions were followed.
