  1. When I booked my September cruise in February, I knew exactly what I was getting with the Plus Pkg but now with this new addition to the plan, and Princess more than likely raising the prices of the drinks, I will not be getting what I booked. Unless of course they stick to their word about not raising prices, then all is fine.
  2. I checked my Summary yesterday for my September cruise and it shows the same thing, Premier Drinks with Service Charge but at the Plus price so I'm confused which one it'll actually be.
  3. I always bring a small first aid kit and most important, medication in case of tummy trouble and cold/allergies. Itch cream for bug bites, etc. They will not carry Tums/Pepto in the gift shop and if you go to the medical center for it, they will quarantine you for possible Noro even though it's more likely from eating/drinking different than at home.
  4. There is no way the cruise lines are going to contact every person that leaves every sailing and tests positive for Covid. They can barely take care of the ones that get it on the ships and are in quarantine. We need to accept the risk we may get it while on the cruise or after or just not cruise. It's something that is going to be with us from now on, have to learn to live with it.
  5. I'm glad the OP got it worked out. If I'm certain I'll be keeping the booking, I always make my final payment a week before just in case there are any issues that may come up.
  6. Seems like wasted space to me and I would never put anything in there. Lol, you're right, not years but weeks. 😀
  7. I disagree. It's about personal responsibility. It's not sub par service if the steward doesn't check every nook & cranny after each guest in each of the cabins they are assigned.
  8. My brother forgot his favorite belt on the top shelf of the closet on our recent Discovery cruise. I always check the drawers and closet before we leave to make sure but I was too short to see it up there. Oh well, he should have been more careful. He'll never make that mistake again. I'm positive the steward doesn't check all the drawers and shelves of the each cabin on turnaround day, they have enough to worry about with the linen changes & cleaning.
