  1. According to LBCABob on my roll call, on 6/14 she was anchored in Limassol (Cypress) then on 7/2 she was in Italy.
  2. The phone reps don't know anything and they certainly aren't going to say it's canceled even if they know it is until it's officially announced. There were a couple of people on my roll call that called and the reps/TA's said it was fine but didn't know why its showing "unavailable".
  3. I'm on this cruise with my brother & SIL as well and I've been watching this. The cruise is not sold out. It was either last Monday or Tuesday, there was lots if interior availability on all decks/locations then the next day, it showed "currently not available". I don't have a good feeling also. The previous cruises before ours were canceled I heard due to staffing issues with visas. Not sure if that's still the case or not. Also, the RT Hawaii cruise right after ours has been showing the same thing and the folks on the roll call there are really concerned as well. I'm expecting the worse, but hoping for the best and looking for alternative cruises.
  4. We were. Maybe it was just the guy in Princess Live! We were regulars in there for trivia and other things going on but when I sat down and ordered, he told me he can't bring the other drink because my brother's medallion has to be within the range or something like that.
  5. They are not the same size. I know deck 9 Dolphin & deck 11 Baja have the largest. You can google pictures and it will show you what they look like. I know someone posted a descriptive photo of the aft cabins, you can search this forum for that.
  6. When I was on the Discovery Princess last April, my first cruise with the medallion, while waiting for my brother to meet up with me, the bartender would not let me order a drink for him along with my own unless he was there also. Not a big deal but kind of a pain to have to wait for them to come around again. Hopefully you'll have better luck.
  7. If you can get a mini suite (it's not club class) on deck 8 Emerald, those are completely covered.
  8. Both of those cruises were not sold out. There were lots of insides still available. I hope I'm wrong but I don't have high hopes for my 9/24 cruise actually sailing. I have some alternatives in mind if it doesn't go.
  9. It's working fine for me but my cruise on Sapphire 9/24 has been showing "currently unavailable" for three days now. It's the first cruise after previous cancellations so I'm thinking it too, might be canned. The same thing for the Hawaii leaving on the day we disembark. 😳
  10. There is one potential problem to consider, if the weather is bad/too windy the following day and they can't use the tenders, you will be stuck.
  11. Great ship! Was on her in 2018. Loved the Observatory!
  12. It's not sold out, lots of Insides still available. I'm on this sailing too and have been nervous about it not actually going. We'll see. I've been looking for back up ones, just in case. 😊
  13. The International dining room on Sapphire was named long before International Cafe came along.
  14. And they also use mashed potatoes for 'ice cream'.
  15. One of my favorite things about the Sapphire is the wide promenade with the padded loungers.
  16. I agree with everyone about kids on cruises. My DD went on her first cruise with us at 6 yo and never once ordered off the kids menu, even at that age. She absolutely loves cruising. For me, I love seeing kids having fun at the pools or roaming around the ship with the kids club staff on scavenger hunts, etc. I wish I had that opportunity when I was a kid.
  17. When I booked my 10 day cruise last Feb, it was $500 more for plus pkg. Deduct $145 for Crew Appreciation, $99.20 for WiFi, that leaves $255.80 for the drinks, divided by 10 days, comes out to $25.58 pd for all my drinks, coffee, soda, etc per day. That's a steal!
  18. Apparently for me, it is. 😄 On my last cruise, I removed the door decoration in the late afternoon on the last day and when going back to the cabin after dinner, I passed right by it and my room steward smiled and said "it's back that way".
  19. I was on Discovery in April and got my Aft, port side Dolphin cabin D730 moved due to quarantine.
  20. Sorry you got sick and hope you feel better soon. There are lots of folks that wear masks the entire cruise, except while eating, drinking and still get sick. It's just no guarantee.
  21. That one might be sold out. You should call them. The 7/10 one has pricing.
  22. Yeah, my bad. I should have said if it's close to sailing date, they'll more than likely wait until after final payment to do so.
  23. I saw this production show on the Discovery in April. It's not a bar on the ship, it's a production show in the Princess Theater called " Spotlight Bar" and it was excellent. Hopefully you'll have the opportunity to see it.
  24. The location to the pool, loungers, bar and food makes it so appealing. It literally takes less than 30 seconds to be out the door and up the few steps to the aft area. I would always want to choose a balcony over an inside but for my sailing, it's just about $500 more, so this is a great alternative!
