  1. Just to point out a possible problem with the vaccination cards.  While I have one listing my 2 doses, I happen to know that I have no antibodies due to being vaccinated during chemo and radiation ( I requested testing as I knew there was a big chance of the shots not working). .  Of course I am not using it as proof until I get my booster.  But how many people were vaccinated , think they have antibodies and use the card as proof......😕

  2. So glad you all posted...I thought I was alone in my concerns !!!

I ,too, am in a "holding pattern" re: cruising.  Too many unknows right now and really don't need the extra stress of that ...I cruise to relax !

  3. My DH got it on his card, I did NOT get it on mine.  Last time it was offered...that was also the case, though reversed.   We did not use it last time and probably not able to use it this time either.😞 (Due to health reasons )

If Cuomo hadn't exempted NJ, CT, MA, and PA from the NYS travel restriction list, 42 of the 50 states now meet the criteria to be on the list. They have 10% positivity and/or more than 10 new cases per 100,000 population per day on average over the past 7 days.  Only New York, Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine do NOT meet those criteria right now. With that being the case, I definitely don't see the Port of New York opening any time soon!

You are so right !   No way will Port of NY will open soon.   Also to be considered, the list of states on the travel ban change often, so planning any trip is very problematic.

Not booking.  My wife passed away unexpectedly last month.  With a completely new outlook on life, I promised my kids and my granddaughters that I will be taking them on a Haven cruise as soon as things get back closer to normal.  But, I am not going to book anything until I get a good idea of how the cruises are going to work, and how the "new normal" rules get relaxed over time.

    Please accept my sincere condolences.

Sometimes I feel that I'm the only one who will not book another cruise until I see the NCL ships actually sailing again.

I've been following prices of several cruises in 2021 for the last six months and they have slowly been rising.    And the prices for the same cruises in 2022 are hundreds of dollars more.

I really don't want to commit myself to any cruise now with the restrictions they are going to impose like wearing masks and only taking ship excursions.  Am I alone in feeling this way?  I, too, want to cruise again as badly as everyone else.

I am with you !  Cancelled my Nov 30th cruise.  Will not book again till  I truly feel comfortable doing so, with restrictions I can live with (not what I see proposed now) and prices are better.  I am truly disappointed not to be cruising, but there is no way I will.. as things stand now.

So you cant get off the ship at all unless ship excursion?  i thought you could stay around the port just not go beyond the port area (outside the gates )

Not many ports have a beach and/or stores, etc  inside "gates" in secure port area.😉  !   I see no way around the "ship excursion" policy . 😉🤭 Sorry...

WOOHOO! Washington finally made it off the list 🤣 I still can’t go anywhere but it’s nice to not be on the naughty list (for now).

LOL--BUT--our NJ list changes almost every day.  You never know what will happen ....
