yes i know there are other tables and waiters but i was specifically stating that sometimes even when you try you dont get it. we loved our servers that first night and wanted to stay with them and loved the area the table was in but it did not work out and i was not willing to waste my vacation fighting for something that used to just happen when we booked a set time for dining. We were on the CB in 2022 which sailed just about full.

well i just checked our hawaii cruise that we booked in April of this year so well after their Dec 2022 date and went to the upgrade tab, then clicked the link for the travel summary and none of the new benefits are there so princess either hasnt updated it all yet or their confusing FAQ about no additional cost is wrong as we booked the hawaii with a suite on April 26 2023 to sail Feb 2025 with the plus package...will keep an eye on it

actually i did this and according to the personalizer it says i get all the new goodies, but when my TA looked in polar like they mentioned on the webinar all it showed was the old goodie and none of the new ones...cant remember if we booked it at the $50 or the $60 as it has been kicked around from 2020 and rebooked numerous times.

This is really sad we had a suite booked for June 2020 it has been kicked around and down now finally getting to go on the cruise this september and had looked forward to ordering from MDR and eating on our balcony watching the scenery now we will be charged for this..such a shame as that was touted as one of the perks of a suite...sigh
-
Now lets hope princess stick to that...trying to figure out a way to screen shot it to save to bring with us...for our Alaska cruise on 9/16 in the suite. right now it showed we have all the new items...but i could have sworn i booked it under the old 50 pricing as this cruise has been kicked around and moved since 2020..I did see on the webinar that TAs can go into polar to verify may have our TA do that.

Thank you so much this is basically what we wanted some tome at the beach and then to wander the whalers village. Mind if I ask how much the Uber's were and the rental of chairs/umbrella so I can add to my budget sheet for an approximate amount? Was the hotel rentals cash only or any payment type? Thank you for your help. -

Can you book the Joppa tour directly there as I believe I saw it offered thru princess? How did the uber ride go as we are thinking of doing uber in Maui? -
In the past we just got a little cake slice and the waiters sang a happy anniversary song to us. The last cruise (2022) we didn't eat in the MDR that much so one of the stores sent us up 2 key rings with Stanley the bear on it and then a box of chocolates. It was hanging on our door with a note that said Happy Anniversary and in the past used to also get a door sign that I assume our steward was given to put up. You can ask for it to be delivered at the beginning of the cruise so that if they do the sign it will be up the entire cruise.

Oh no...this is the first time we have seen it and cruised in 2021 with way reduced capacity I think then they had a select floor they moved folks to and then in 2022...just about at full capacity it seemed and did not see this. But will for sure keep an eye out on our cruise this September. Learned something new today. -

That's ok never hurts to ask...was curious if the menus repeat since it is a 2 week cruise or if they are different the 2nd week. Enjoy your cruise. -

Alaska - Denali upgrade to Tundra Wilderness Tour
cruzrbachoua replied to firsttimecruiser88's topic in Princess Cruises
I am curious how you guys are doing the Tundra tour when the Denali park is closed at mile 43 see screen shot from their website. We were scheduled to do this and princess changed us to a slightly longer Natural History tour since they cant go as far as the Tundra tour normally did... Some park operations are currently altered due to the Pretty Rocks Landslide. The closure of the Denali Park Road at Mile 43 is expected to remain in place until partway through summer 2026, while the Polychrome Area Plan is implemented. https://www.nps.gov/dena/planyourvisit/conditions.htm#:~:text=Some park operations are currently,Polychrome Area Plan is implemented.
