  1. It has a slightly nicer ambiance and is usually quieter.
  2. Personally, I find the food from the poolside grill to be completely inedible. That's why multiple venues are good. If everyone went to the same place, it would be much too crowded.
  3. But you are forced to pay for both people, doubling the cost.
  4. We must be sailing on different ships (or maybe even different planets). I rarely, if ever, see more than one or two vegetarian options.
  5. There's a huge difference between Blu and Luminae.
  6. You do not have to share a table if you don't want to.
  7. Email is at least as big a hoop as uploading using the app. In fact, I would say that signing up for and complaining on Cruise Critic is more complicated than uploading a redacted brokerage statement.
  8. Never attribute to malice what can easily be explained by incompetence.
  9. Cruising in its entirety is a first world issue.
  10. With a premium drink package, you get unlimited bottled water and soda, regardless of the type of cabin you booked.
  11. I would say good timing. We tried it once and it was the absolute worst crab we ever had. It reminded me of the way mom used to cook vegetables - boil for an hour until there's no texture or nutrition left.
  12. Non sequitur. The question was not about Power Up points.
  13. We've always been able to get a corner table with additional space between us and the next table.
  14. I wish they had a bin for recycling them when leaving the ship (same for the cards).
  15. It seems pretty standard in many restaurants serving Asian cuisine.
  16. You can try putting something in the comments, but I would say there's less than a 5% chance of someone actually reading the instructions and following through. Wash is pretty much always in extremely hot water, no matter what you request. If you have clothes that you care about anad that need special attention, do not send them in.
  17. You mean they didn't put you through the paddling ritual?
  18. I prefer the card as well. The medallion is always troublesome when debarking and embarking at port calls. The cards are also much more secure.
  19. They would never do it because they know people have to pack.
  20. The one time we had to use medical services onboard, we got the complete records within two days (while still onboard) without us needing to do anything.
  21. If you'd read the other posts in this thread, it would be apparent that I have been to many (and not just in the U.S.). But to the Japanese public Brazilian is exotic. And so is Mexican.
