Princess does not assign boarding times (they tried to have suggested times for a while but it was only a suggestion). We always arrive around 10:00 or so. We may have to wait a little bit because actual boarding may not start til about 11:00. We like to have lunch in the dining room.

@Hlitner Thanks for your info. We don't take any narcotics but do take a controlled drug. My last cruise last year I tried finding out info from the countries we were going to and found some info was non existent. Even emailed the embassies and did not get a response from most. Spain, for one, did not respond. When I emailed again I got a response making it seem easy to send in paperwork and any questions don't hesitate to ask. I had a question and emailed back but never heard back from them. Ugh. That is probably one reason why some people take their chances. The biggest thing for me is what happens in the worst case scenario if you are taken from the ship to a hospital in a country that does not allow your medication.

What does one do if carrying narcotics (or I assume any other type of controlled medicine)?

Shareholder benefit has now been extended to Dec 31, 2024. Try asking Stockperks to add it. Hopefully they can now do it.

Interesting that it is only til December 31 instead of extending it til July 31, 2025.

Welcome to cruise critic. There have been lots of threads about how bad Princess customer service is since they outsourced it to the Philippines.

Sure looks nice to me! We all have different wants and needs and this is more than I need or want. I wouldn't pay for it because we don't sit around outside a lot but it would be lovely to have if the price was right.

I don't see any Live from threads and boarding was yesterday. I am surprised.

I never saw that. My sailing is sold out so I checked two other sailings in August on the Sky Princess and didn't see it there either.

My dh got one once when we were going on a cruise. No problem being deferred.

I hope you are right! Now all I have to do is wait for Princess to extend the shareholder credit to beyond July 31.

Could you please clarify this? I have already paid, by credit card, for an excursion. I did this last month. I am not clear what I should do once onboard (and I have some OBC from the shareholder credit on my folio). Thanks!

I must have missed it when Stockperks was accepting it further out. I know Princess used to. As a matter of fact, I had sent it in to Princess (before Stockperks was tasked with this) and they put it on my account. Then I re-fared when the price went down and I lost it. Now I have to wait 😞. Could have used it to pay for an excursion. Now I don't know what I will use it on. My cruise is August 3 so just a few days after July 31.

Is your cruise before July 31? Mine is a few days later so I have to wait for them to extend it. Don't like it.

Has anyone stayed here? I see that they have coffee/tea in the rooms. We have a standard room, nothing fancy. If I bring a few envelopes of instant oatmeal will I be able to heat up water for it? Will I need to bring a bowl and silverware spoon? Thanks.

Not to say it isn't true, but I have never read about that on this site. Maybe there was a price increase and it had nothing to do with you purchasing the insurance?

The one I booked before the big price increase is on "sale" for more than I paid.

My one excursion booked went up $60 and now with the "sale" it is $10 more than what I paid. Some sale.

Where on the Princess website do you check the balance of each gift card? We are going to buy them for the first time.
