  1. I answered a call years ago when docked in Vancouver. Cost me $21 for 2 minutes.
  2. Captain Smith was hilarious! He bragged about the ship’s capabilities in doing a 180 in Skagway and made fun of a few who missed the sail away time in Ketchikan (I think).
  3. This happened to my brother. 2 cruises from 2006/2007 were missing. He went to the Captain’s Circle desk onboard and it was fixed quickly!
  4. Putting this in my must-do’s. Thanks for the great tip!
  5. I said it in the other thread- I won’t believe this CVP until someone who has sailed in a suite, under these new changes, comes back and reports in. It doesn’t make any sense at all.
  6. On my past 2 cruises they sent me to the main lines because Elite/Platinum check-in was so backed up. It did not affect me boarding with the Elite/Platinum as we were all sent into the same room. In Seattle, I had to push because the man monitoring the room was saying Elite only. A Princess employee educated him.
  7. I received the $10 in May and didn’t have to ask. I upgraded to Premier AFTER ordering my medallion.
  8. I’d disagree here. On Princess you get tips, internet, and drinks for $60 per day- no gratuity.
  9. The only thing that was free that isn’t anymore is Alfredo’s/GiGi’s. Lido deck still free. All of the other venues have always had a cost. my not be a popular opinion, but they had to do something to slow down the room service orders. I waited 1.5 hours one night and was order #1200. They can’t hire enough crew, or build a kitchen large enough, to handle that number of orders .
  10. I think I got lost in the shuffle of my VIP Cruise. All I got was strawberries, it I was having so much fun I didn’t take the time to go ask anyone in the casino-haha.
  11. Only a suite gets double. Singles receive double credit unless sailing in a suite, then, they earn 3 credits.
  12. We got one dessert. My sugar/ice cream fiend niece SPIT IT OUT! The cakes in them are gross. 🤣😂
  13. I get the same thing on Safari but can log in with Chrome.
  14. That’s a bummer, but I think you are expecting too much that staff in the ship know who staff in Santa Clarita are leaving messages for.
  15. I loved the burgers at the Salty Dog pre-pandemic. I couldn’t even eat one in May. Beef in 360 was divine!
  16. Horribly organized is EXACTLY right and all of the port volunteers and workers are very concerned with their illogical system.
  17. I figured mine dried up because on my last cruise I played until the last day with their $$ ($300 casino credit). I never got up by more than $100 or down by more than $100 until the last day. Then, I gave them $200. Oops!
  18. This may be silly, but it’s boards.cruisecritic dot com. Gets me there every time!
  19. I’ve had it twice with the Premier and nada. The first time I was entered into a drawing (you had to be present to win) and I was scheduled for my first 360 Dining. I chose 360 dining when thinking about the odds. I would never buy it as a stand alone. I got the Premier to use expiring credits. Will stick with Plus as I don’t drink much.
