  1. We took our then 7 month old son on our first Celebrity cruise many years ago. I know the dining room had high chairs available for use. In fact after the first night, the wait staff had the high chair all set up at our table and ready to go. I don't really know about the crib. We brought our own Graco Pack N Play with us to use as a crib. I have yet to see any hint of a ship supplied crib in all my cruises. Here is a flyer on in-suite babysitting: link
  2. Wow, you got to sail on the all time Blue Riband champ! How cool is that? When I lived in Philadelphia, I could see her berthed and wasting away on the Delaware River--a shadow of her former self. I think she is still there. You probably know, they did squirrel away some SS United States memorabilia and put them on display aboard Infinity. For new cruisers to Celebrity, it probably is an interesting display; but it is a sad reminder for those of us that were lucky enough to eat there.
  3. You have the named restaurants for Infinity and Summit switched around. Here are their obituaries in the USA TODAY: Celebrity Cruises to jettison history-filled restaurants https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/cruises/2015/10/09/celebrity-cruises-restaurant-makeover/73640978/
  4. You should be able to keep your Basic WiFi package according to FAQ #5
  5. The May webinar just showed up in my points history, but not yet in my Club Points total which gets updated soon thereafter.
  6. My fortune cookie last night said, "Your patience will be rewarded". I am also wearing my lucky socks today. So I have these two things going for me.
  7. Yes, you are of course correct. However the OP is asking how much the Select laundry discount is in order to make an informed purchasing decision before the cruise. The Captains Club list of benefits do not say what the discount actually is. The coupons are the only documentation that I have that show what it was. Do you know what the discount is?
  8. As you may already know, the discounted bag of laundry--for Select passengers--is only available for cruises of 12 nights or longer. My information is old and so hopefully some one with recent experience can comment. Not too long ago (5 years?) Celebrity used to put the Captains Club benefits on a physical sheet of coupons. Here is the sheet for Select members on a 12 night or more cruise: link I have put a screenshot of the laundry coupons below in this post. You can see that the laundry perk included a bag of laundry for $20.
  9. I am planning on going to the Canadian Rockies some day, so I am definitely loving this.
  10. Don't you have to call that shot (putt) for it to count?
  11. The Happy Hour (free selected drinks from 5-7pm or something like that) still exists. The dedicated location (section in the Sky Lounge) is no longer.
  12. What is the difference between the discontinued Ultimate Dining Package and what @Cruise a holic is showing in an earlier post? For a 9 night sailing (Jan 2 2024 Silhouette), a 9 night specialty dining package including lunch is being offered.
  13. Very nice review and I am pleased to read that you had such an outstanding cruise. It sounds like you need to cancel your upcoming non-Celebrity cruises now.
  14. You could be right about that. "MCC" pricing represents a 20% discount over the "Retail" price.
  15. I asked myself the same thing--will this be the case for AI bookings after Jun 1?
  16. Just to clarify, I found this FAQ on Celebrity's trade website (for travel agents/planners) which is at https://www.thecelebritycommitment.com/
  17. So Starlink improvements in overall bandwidth + lotsa passengers with Premium Wi-Fi = ??
  18. The pricing in my Cruise Planner looks cheaper than FAQ #8.
  19. On May 25, Celebrity published a set of FAQs regarding "Wi-Fi Updates". Celebrity has been communicating changes in this manner lately. The problem for me is that you have to piece together what the change is based on the FAQs since it is not accompanied by an announcement that I could find. It looks like a new pricing structure will be put into place and that Basic Wi-Fi will no longer be sold after Jun 1. Now that I think about it, I recall CC members observing that Basic Wi-Fi offerings have disappeared from their Cruise Planner. I just looked at my CP for my cruises and the Basic Wi-Fi option is gone along with the Basic to Premium Voucher option. The Premium Wi-Fi pricing table in Question 8 does not indicate if the pricing is per day, but I think it is. MCC must be the abbreviation for My Celebrity Cruise (see Question 11) but I don't know what it means.. Anyway, here are the Wii-Fi Updates FAQs: link
  20. This article on Pickleball was published in today's Wall Street Journal website. Pickleball on cruise ships was briefly mentioned but it is not the focus of the article. Pickleball Tourism Takes Off Across the U.S.-- Enough of the Museums and Beach Trips
  21. Aqua Class passengers eat in a private restaurant, Blu. That should cut down on the crowd/line factor you are worried about. I have been on Infinity a couple of times but never in Aqua Class. However my understanding is that the Aqua cabins on Deck 11 (Cat A1) are more desirable then the ones on Deck 9 (Cat A2).
  22. You are right about the location of that photo (my daughter is pictured). Diving was ok there. Dive Friends later took us to the Cliff dive site which was better. A few years earlier we dove Bonaire and this was my favorite dive, I presume you will recognize the location:
  23. You are correct that the sommelier will save the opened bottle for you if you have not finished it. However, I do not think that they do more than just re-cap/cork the bottle--that is my guess as I have never asked.
