We have decided to start a new adventure in our lives. Let’s just say our new hobby. It all started in January when we went to the I X Center to do some walking and get our steps in. That visit a Motor Home/ RV show was the featured event.So we walked and looked. Walked more and said. “ That’s nice” Well we got our steps in and left with a two week option to buy a Motor Home at show price. The next day we made an appointment to proceed with purchase. Then we got a phone call in April that they cannot fill the order with the one we purchased. It was no longer being made. But the good news was they would honor the purchase but a 2024 model, for the same price. Now this model over the 2023 had more options that were standard. Direct TV, Fire stick. Extra charging stations, to list a few. And many storage compartments. We have been purchasing supplies and necessities over the past few months. So on Saturday July 1, we brought her home. Today we spent 5 hours cleaning, stocking and organizing. Oh in case your wondering we do have 3 future cruises booked. Quantum, Symphony and Freedom. Be safe.

Sad news. The Coast Guard issued a statement that the tail (?) cone of the Titan Submarine was found. Family members were notified. Prayers for those who lost their lives as well as families left behind.

This is the first ray of hope if it is the TITAN. I have been following this event and praying for a safe outcome. But what amazes me is when you watch TV for updates and different channels use different “ experts “ to try and suggest theories as to what happened. Some are quite grim and dim. But, I can only hope and pray that crew survives and tell their story…….. Praying. Here’s to Hope.

I had the opportunity of walking Miss Zoey today the first time she sat sitting forward. So instead of talking about squirrels, we —I talked about what we saw. To start the neighborhood has an ongoing tribute to our country thru display of flags. So we stopped and talked about the Stars and Stripes. And I shared with her that both of her great grandfathers served the country, my father was drafted and was honorably discharged from WW2, my husbands father was an Air Force academy graduate and never made it home from Vietnam. The area near their house has a large population of Asian residents whose children go to Miami of Ohio (University). The whole family moved in and some apartments have 6-10 family’s in a 2-3 bedroom apartment. . Few have cars. They leave their Kroger buggies everywhere. Kroger has the night shift comb the area and return to the store. Now some people are just litter bugs. Straws Cigarette packs Kroger receipt Store bag Dog outhouse Now too many piles of dog remnants. Picture not necessary. BIG DOG.. Owners to lazy to pick up. Tomorrow we attack the park. Beautiful, shaded. I was able to walk 2 1/2 miles. Hopefully the scenery will be more of beautiful nature. Be safe.

Greg. I literally and physically can feel your pain. I was not able to walk for 3 months due to cold weather and plus I twisted my knee. Treatment —rest. Then in June it felt better. Of course on the cruise I some how hurt my hip. Just last week again after hit or miss weeks I am staying at 2 miles a day after my pill of Iuprofen ( Motrin). In regards to MRI. Between the noise and setup many get uncomfortable. Part of my clinical rotation when I did anesthesia was sedation for MRI. Not to go to sleep. But sedation. Depending on a persons health history age, weight, smoking history alcohol consumption as well as recreational drugs decided on amount of sedation needed. Because of the room/ machine setup our facility will not provide a general nor do children. That requires a special anesthesia machine and the risk of complications are too great. It is amazing what Versed in adequate dose with supplemental oxygen blowing over the face. And safety equipment BP cuff, Oximeter to measure oxygen level. CO2 monitors to measure breathing will get 95% of the population safely thru the procedure. Versed is a great drug can cause amnesia. Some people will snooze and tell others they had a general. Not true. Bad PR. Cause then we get. “ my friend had a general”. They didn’t. It was versed amnesia. The other 5% are so overwhelmed at the thought of it nothing will help them. In fact when a person says “ I’m going to have a general or I’m not having it done”. We try to encourage them to let us help them. Often No can do. So they leave without getting it done so they don’t get the results for their doctor. That kinda sums it up.

I think the daily limit is higher. I was able to get a total of $800 out of slot machine one day early in the cruise when at first the Allure was in a not so kind mood, and I was in a "I wanna play mode" (after I went thru my budgeted amount).. After that withdrawl, I was able to get play money to keep going as well as jackpots. Besides when that $800 goes on the credit card, I get my points and cash back. And also, that is more than enough to charge on a vacation. Besides, that is something I said I would never do, and did, but, came home and paid our account off in full, which was not too painful. When we go out we leave the window and door alarms on and just shut off motion sensors. Well some one not mentioning any names. ( spouse), set full alarm on. So pretty kitty jumped on light table in downstairs foyer and she was picked up by house sensors. There everywhere in this house. Security company called. We gave password Not once but twice in same week. Yup Bad …………spouse Good………kitty Lizzy wouldn’t have set it off if the spouse set it right.

Good afternoon. To summarize my casino experience. I gambled enough over 6 days to earn a grand Suite on a selection of ships and dates through the casino So I went to our TA and she booked. Symphony of the Seas 8 days next April. The free cruise does not include tax or port fees Before we left the ship we turned in our paperwork to guarantee us the $2000 in casino credit, and our credit card was charged $200. We also got some on board credit. It’s either $200- or -$300. So after all is said and done I had to pay $27 total for me and my husband. And I did come home with $$$ Be safe.

Hello my friends. I have done a reality check and have come to the conclusion that I will never catch up and “ read all about it on this thread”. Our Allure cruise was a great getaway. I enjoyed doing the live thread, and was actually a behaved poster. Although a few participants did not like my jesting. Anyway. I know people on this thread are normal, kind and understanding. I was a creeper on another social media site and the majority are fun people. But there are a few that would be removed from CC. I am thankful for what we share here. I have planned to post live from Alaska in August , but reconsidering. We shall see. Anyway. I was pretty lucky at the casino. And the spouse was happy I came home with winnings. I won just under $14,000 on 5 jackpots. My name was flagged and I did have to meet with customs. I filled out the USGOV form as well as gambled my winnings down to under $10,000. The concierge escorted me to customs as to not miss our NASA TOUR. When we got there I was moved to front of line. Mr Customs man asked me why I was there. I told him how much I won and then told I lost Enough to bring my total $$ under $10,000 back in the states. I showed him my winning statements as well as my account of buying $$ out of machine to lose enough to bring me to the safe limit. Mr customs goes. You are prepared. We booked the tour as a NASA , airport shuttle. The tour was advertised as a “3 hour tour” (SS Minnow😳) It will get us to the airport by 1 pm. Your flight has to be after 4 to do this. Sea ya.
